Apartament w świetnej lokalizacji, blisko sklepu spożywczego. Jest przestronny i bardzo dobrze wyposażony – w kuchni znajdowało się wszystko, co potrzebne. Dużym plusem jest również garaż. Bardzo miły i pomocny personel. Zdecydowanie polecam! 😊

Pros Location: The flat is located in Candelaria, which is a beautiful area of Tenerife and, in my opinion, feels more local and authentic than some of the more touristy areas such as Las Américas or Puerto de la Cruz. It is only about a 5-minute walk from the beach, and the street where the flat is located has pretty much everything you need, including bakeries, supermarkets, shops, bars and coffee shops. Along the seafront, there are also some nice restaurants with different types of food, as well as ice cream shops and other places to enjoy. Candelaria is also conveniently located between the north and south of the island and is only around 15 minutes from Santa Cruz. This makes it a very convenient base if you are renting a car, as many places around the island can be reached within approximately 10–40 minutes, depending on the destination and traffic. The flat: The flat itself is a good size and has balconies on both sides. It is nicely decorated and generally very well equipped. The kitchen has pretty much everything a family might need. This was particularly useful for us as we were travelling with a baby and could prepare food and take it with us when going to the beach. I also really appreciated the welcome supplies the owners left for us, including crackers/bread, butter, coffee, jam, milk, sugar, tea, extra-virgin olive oil, soap, shampoo and other useful items. These little details made us feel very welcome. The flat also has a washing machine, cooker, microwave, plates, glasses and everything else you would normally expect for a comfortable stay. Another big advantage is the private parking space in the basement. Believe me, you really need one in this area, as parking can become very difficult, especially because the area gets busy every day. Having a dedicated parking space saved us a lot of time and stress trying to find somewhere to park.

Cons Unfortunately, we found the flat to be a little dirty when we arrived. In particular, the fans had quite a lot of visible dust on top of them and the kitchen and bathroom were no cleaned properly. We also noticed some very small insects/creatures in the kitchen. We couldn't identify exactly what they were, but they were definitely not ants. On a couple of occasions, we also saw cockroaches in the evening. This was particularly concerning for us because we were travelling with a baby who was crawling on the floor. We were worried that she could come into contact with one or potentially pick something up and put it in her mouth. Another issue for us was the bedroom mattress. Unfortunately, we found it quite uncomfortable. After sleeping on it throughout the night, we often woke up the next morning with back discomfort. For a two-week stay, this made it difficult to get a really good night's sleep, so I think replacing or upgrading the mattress would make a significant difference to the overall comfort of the flat. The street outside the flat is very lively, which is great during the day, but it can also be quite noisy. That said, once we closed the balcony and kitchen doors, the noise was reduced considerably and we were able to sleep without any major problems.
