This stylish, immaculate and comfortable hotel was great for a stop-over before our tour of Sri-Lanka. The staff and service was excellent and the small swimming pool very welcome after a hot day. The hotel provides a very good breakfast and a reasonable restaurant menu. The Sri-Lankan curry dishes are tasty, if a little salty to our taste. There is also a good choice of restaurants 5 minutes (busy road) walk away on the main coast road. The hotel itself is tucked away down a quiet street so no traffic disturbance. The airport taxi service is a bonus.

The local area is busy and noisy. Having said that this lovely small hotel is tucked away down a quiet side street.

The hotel is small, quiet with really friendly staff and a lovely pool area. The hotel rooms are really comfortable with everything you’d need, showers are hot with great pressure. The collection from the airport was great and worked seamlessly. The breakfast was amazing each morning. Short walk to the beach and restaurants/bars but far enough away for a quiet sleep. We even went back for a second night after our plans changed.

Small pool area perfect for a dip after a day out but not much space if you planned to spend the day at the hotel would be the only thing worth mentioning.

Very accommodating with any pre arrival queries ~ kindly arranged Driver to meet me off an early morning flight ~ a warm welcome, proficient and courteous greeting on reaching the Hotel, and escorting me to my room...

It would be undeserving of Belmont to be critical in any way ~ the whole experience Exemplary, and I will certainly book accommodation there again...

The swimming pool doesn’t get any sun :-( The roof top is a real bonus but it looks very tired and unloved They should definitely make more of this and make it more comfortable and appealing as I suspect guests would really like this and might then spend more time at the hotel

Staff were very helpful, it was very modern and clean. Room was big and spacious with a small balcony. The pool was handy for a quick dip.

Only 4 beds by the pool and the sun only hits it in the morning (in January) so make the most of it then.

O espaço da piscina é pequeno só havendo espaço para 2 espreguicadeiras. Os produtos do pequeno almoço internacional eram de qualidade porém com pouca diversidade.

We had a very comfortable one-night stay at this hotel! They arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport, and even though our flight arrived a bit late in the night, the driver was there, and they arranged a late check-in for us. We greatly appreciated this opportunity. We had an amazing sleep, and that was all we wanted on that day. The bed is incredibly comfortable! The room is spacious, with no access for mosquitoes, and overall, it is a new and clean hotel. However, the breakfast wasn't as tasty, but in all other aspects, this hotel is perfect! Speaking about the staff, they are there to assist you, and they are very nice and friendly, not trying to take advantage of you, in comparison to other places!

Perfecte locatie om even op adem te komen na een lange vliegreis. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel dat ons hartelijk ontving. Mooie, ruime kamer en een fijne badkamer. Het zwembad is niet groot, maar groot genoeg om even af te koelen. Het hotel is rustig gelegen aan het einde van een doodlopende straat. In de buurt zijn veel restaurants te vinden en ook het strand is dichtbij.

Op het hotel is niets aan te merken. Wij vonden Negombo niet heel spannend.

We only stayed for a short night after a late-night international arrival from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged two separate airport pick-ups for us. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great and contained some delicious fresh fruit. We left right after breakfast so we didn't get to explore the place beyond the breakfast hall but it was perfect as a landing place to start our Sri Lanka trip.

There seemed to be a bit of cigarette smell coming from our bathroom. It was fine when the door was closed.
