Everything as described, great communication with owners.

The house was well stocked. We enjoyed a lot of time in the lake as well as on the deck/swing.
There were a couple of things that could have made our experience more enjoyable. When we originally booked, I could of sworn there was a sandy area and swing set just below the main deck, which was no longer there. I was looking forward to being able to play with my son and his beach toys.
Additionally, we rented the pontoon boat, which was nice. However, it did not have a functioning ladder. We were told that this was going to get fixed halfway through our stay, which did not happen. We did not use the boat nearly as much as we would have liked due to not being able to get in and out without struggling and bruising our knees.

We had such a wonderful stay! Everything about the house was so clean, organized and well kept (inside and outside). The pictures are a little dark online which don’t do the property justice. Our young kids (ok adults too) enjoyed the diving board, lily pad and slide! And the location on the lake is perfect for tubing/skiing. The property manager is great to work with and easy to contact. You can’t go wrong bringing your family here!!

We stayed at this lovely lakehouse for a short vacation. Just a few steps to the dock and lake. Rented the pontoon boat. Used the slide, diving board, kayaks, lily pad, floaties, etc. If it was in the water, we used it. Fully stocked kitchen—so much cookware. Loved the wraparound porch and bed swing. Lake was very clean and calm. Neighbors were polite and helpful. Would definitely go back again. JR communicated well with us and check in/out was a breeze. If you’re looking for a break from everyday life, this is the place to be at Lake of Egypt. And the sunsets are gorgeous!

The entire house was perfect for our adventure.
Communal areas were larger than expected which made preparing bfast easy (there were 6 adults running it like a restaurant).
House was stocked w more than the average. There were more cast iron pans I have at home.
Lounging/floating bed on the porch was great for the girls to read their books and chat.
The lower patio area provides perfect separation for kids to be asleep in the house w out being disturbed.

We were very pleased with this property! House was very clean, beds were comfortable, owner was very easy to communicate with. Check in and out very smooth with no problems. Great boat dock if you have a boat you are bringing along. Just a side note, unless you have a very small car you have to park across the street which is not a problem but if you have to back a boat/trailer and large truck then you almost have to come from the opposite direction so you don't hit their mail box! This was all very doable and not a problem but hoping this helps someone in the future!

The pictures on this house do not do it justice. It is beautiful and so relaxing. The entire family enjoyed fishing off the dock from a 6 year to a 42 year old man. The 6 year old probably caught over 100 little fish, absolutely perfect for her. My oldest caught a couple nice sized catfish and bass. The twin bed swing on the porch was mom's favorite reading spot. All beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything we needed. We rented the boat for 2 days and that was very nice, when we were not fishing we were playing on the water slide, diving board, and water mat. Truly a calming and beautiful vacation spot. We also did some hiking and cannot wait to come back and explore some more.

Very nice house, well stocked. Welcome snacks provided. Enjoyed the kayaks and wildlife on the lake. Teens loved the bed swing on the porch for late night chats and giggles. Remote location so plan ahead for activities, groceries, and any personal needs. Overall a very enjoyable property.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights, and we enjoyed every minute of it! Very clean and welcoming. Peaceful mornings on the deck were an absolute treat. Can’t wait to go back!

Family vacation
We loved staying at this property. The house was lovely, clean, and super functional. This property has more than a house to stay in (with an amazing view) but also has a water slide, diving board, and 2 kayaks available. My kids loved it. We also chose to rent the boat, which made for a fun day. Lastly, they had board games, popcorn, and back up sunscreen for anyone who needed it. Little things like this make a big difference and a more enjoyable experience.

Our favorite rental at LOE for the past 6-7 years of going there.
This rental was very clean and comfortable for our two families that share a cabin every year at LOE. Plenty of space in every room and a well stocked kitchen. The back deck was great to hang out on with plenty of seating and an awesome twin size bed porch swing. The 2 slip covered dock with boat lift, water slide, diving board, 2 new kayaks, Lilly pad was plenty of lake entertainment for adults & kids. We’ve stayed at many different places on this lake over the years and have not been disappointed yet, but this place has been the best overall and if available we will definitely book this property for our next trip.

Beautiful lake house with beautiful views
We were thoroughly impressed with this property! The house was fantastic and the pictures do no do it justice. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you could possibly need and the house was very clean and comfortable. The bed swing on the back porch is great and the kids absolutely loved the water slide and diving board off the dock! Being able to rent the pontoon boat from the owner made the stay that much better. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be visiting again!

Great trip!
The house is perfect, no complaints. . Very clean and comfy beds and couch. Sleeps 6 adults perfectly. Fully stocked kitchen and swim/bath towels. Outdoor deck has plenty of sitting and the dock was a ton of fun. Kayaks, lillypad, paddle board, slide, diving board, and a boat. We didn’t rent the boat but it was convenient to have that on site if wanted. Stores are alittle bit of a drive so just prepare your grocery list before you go out. Host was very good at communication and responded very quickly if we need anything during it stay. Definitely would book again!

The PERFECT spot
There is nothing not to love here. The location on the lake is wonderful. The kids and adults enjoyed the water right off the dock, and the slide, diving board, kayaks, lily pad, and paddle board kept the kids entertained for hours.
The beds are super comfy, the towels are soft and dreamy, the property is very clean and updated, and the amenities are all top notch.
Boat rental from owner was easy peasy, and it was really nice having boat access while there. The pontoon itself is definitely one of the nicer ones we’ve rented in the past few years.

Great week at the lake!
The house was clean and had everything we could have needed. The sheets and towels were nice and soft. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The outside landscaping is beautiful! We saw tons of wildlife, so beautiful! We rented the pontoon a few days and had a blast, it is also well maintained and looked brand new. Fishing was great, off the dock, and the slide and diving board were a big hit with our 8 year old. Great place to stay!
