There are so many things to rave about! I’ll try to be brief.First, it was a real treat to have direct Lake access and some paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes on site! We paddled every single day, several times a day. Second, the layout of the house is wonderful with space for privacy and lots of spaces to be together. I don’t feel the pictures do the outdoor space justice. The deck is expensive with lots of nuts and crannies for people to hang out.Third, the house is about 10 minutes away from Ely, so easy to make a quick trip into town for groceries dinner or local attractions. We loved the Dorothy Molter museum. Fourth, everything about the rental was easy. Great communication with clear instructions sent just at the right time.We had our annual vacation as a family with four adults, one senior, and one five-year-old. The senior on the trip who was recovering from a leg injury needed some help getting out to the boat dock, but the five-year-old had no problems at all. One morning I saw an otter galloping up the dock, and we also saw them in the water as well.It was a wonderful day and it highly recommend it. I’d love to come back in the winter.

Everything was in good condition and clean. Very comfortable roomy place.

There were multiple messages throughout the process providing all the information we needed to check in, check out, and find local food and activity options.The place was really nice and we very much enjoyed it!

The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. We left them behind so maybe the owner will get the message. At the stated price and with sleeping for 8, bathroom privacy matters. They also need to fix the leaking shower upstairs. The email asking me to tip their housekeepers on the morning of departure was insulting when I paid significant "service fees." Perhaps the owner should pay their cleaning staff an equitable portion of the "fees."
