Overall this is a beautiful house large enough for a big family as we were 6 adults and 3 children. I believe the issues we had were more with the property management company. We had questions about the ability to use streaming services on the TV and regarding how to work the fireplace, and I tried calling Vacasa but gave up after being on hold more than 30 minutes. They did have a text option, so I texted my questions, but there would be a delay from 30 minutes to 10 hours before I’d receive a response. We discovered on day 2 that the hot water ran out after 2 showers and again I reached out to the property management company, but it was hours before I received a response and by then we were gone. Our last evening was New Year’s Eve, and we were planning to use the oven; however, once the oven was pre-heated and we opened the door, smoke came billowing out. We immediately opened windows/doors and turned the oven off. I reached out about that, but received no response until the next morning. We’ve rented cabins via VRBO in the past with no issues, or if there were issues we were easily able to connect with the owners and get questions answered/issues resolved quickly. This experience was disappointing due to slow response to the few issues we had and the lack of cleanliness of the oven which ruined our NYE dinner.

Me and my family (kids, nephew and family, in-laws) all stayed and the place was perfect. This house had everything we were looking for and more. Spacious, enough beds and the view was amazing. We’ll definitely be back there again.

My family lost three family members in the last year and a half, so we wanted to create new memories and Sahuaro Place was perfect for us. The two kids were thrilled with their rooms and loved the entire property. The two adults were grateful for the well-equipped kitchen which made preparing Thanksgiving dinner a no brainer. And last but definitly not least, the fabulous fireplace with a huge stock of firewood. Thank you for the wonderful memory.

The house and description posted on VRBO were very enticing and it looked to be a gorgeous house. It was gorgeous but not very clean. The 50 year old arcadia doors function like they're 50 years old. One had no screen, one had a screen that falls off the track, one in master bedroom had to have 2 people hold the screen to get the door to lock. There was maybe one or two doors you could open "easily", the rest were very difficult to open, and the doors were very dirty as well. The kitchen is missing a screen so only one window could be opened. The kitchen stove has seen better days, the refrigerator has what looks like packing tape inside the door across the top. The dishwasher is hard to close, you have to mess around with the latch to get it to start. There were ants in the kitchen window sill and some ants in the master bedroom tub, and the shower really needs medical bars on the wall as it's about 2 or 3 feet deep. Difficult to maneuver when you're older. The carpet has some pretty nice stains as well, which if it is 50 years old makes sense. The table and chairs on the deck had an umbrella that couldn't be used, but the ring in the table and the umbrella stand below the table wasn't functioning - so we didn't get to use that. The conversation area was very nice and the wall of tiles around the fireplace are beautiful and would probably be very nice in the winter to sit around a fire. The view from the deck is beautiful but you can hear the traffic on I17. On the positive side, it's secluded and very roomy for 12 guests, and a lot of things to keep everyone entertained . The beds were very comfortable and ample blankets are available if needed.
