This house is absolutely stunning. The decor is beautiful, it is very clean and a wonderful location. They have stocked the house with EVERYTHING you need for your stay. There was lots of wildlife in the canal and made great for fishing right in the back yard! Communication was great and look forward to visiting again!
**my only suggestion would be to add better lighting in the bathrooms for the ladies. Putting makeup on was a little difficult to see

We staying in the Keys a fair amount and love key colony community, as it’s convenient to everything and we can bring our boat. Most of the properties are nice however this property is truly spectacular. It’s very hip, well decorated and the owners thought to offer every possible amenity including bike and paddle boards. We were blown away. The management company made booking and checkin very easy and quick. Their communication and accessibility were well above par. This will be our first choice in the Keys every time we come down in the future

Simply could not be a better. This property is everything that is pictured, and more.
The kitchen is more than adequately stocked with items needed to cook any meal you want, garage is stocked full of everything you could need for ALL the fun! We really enjoyed riding the bikes to a local coffee shop.
The pool is the perfect size to enjoy, especially with kids, or to just cool off and the whole back yard is INCREDIBLE. We spent 90% of our time back there.
LOVE the turf to keep things clean!
We are big boat people, so we rented a boat during our stay (because we live 17 hours away LOL) and the convenience of the canal to everywhere we wanted to go was prime. The docking situation was also great. SO easy.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, and comfortable. Loved having the huge closets to store our clothes and suitcases out of sight!
If you are on the fence about booking, do it, you will NOT be sorry! We already can't wait to come back!

Property looks brand new, tastefully decorated, well appointed, spotless. Large master suite upstairs, comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, dining table seats 10. Nice little pool, plenty of outdoor seating. Lots of games, plus blow up paddle boards, life jackets, kayak, bikes, helmets. Great dock area with plenty of space for 24 foot boat. We parked our trailer at city lot, which was no problem. Would not recommend bringing trailer to the house because it's difficult to turn around. No cul de sac at end of street. Note that the main living area with kitchen and dining table is upstairs. This was challenging with small children and guest with broken ankle.

This is by far the best house we’ve stayed at in The Keys. We enjoyed the paddle boards, bikes, and games on a daily basis. The pool chillers were the best after a day on the boat. The beds were comfy, everyone had their own private bathroom, we had everything we needed to cook meals. Best stocked house ever! I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. We had an amazing trip!

The property was just as pictured in the listing. Immaculately clean upon arrival. I love that the house was stocked with beach towels and boat rags on top of bath linens. So nice not having to make beds upon arrival…lots of VRBOs at the beach supply linens but don’t put linens on the beds. Beautiful back yard with a gorgeous pool and patio. We made full use of the paddle boards, bikes, chess, and many other games that were supplied. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I had ever experienced in a VRBO. We used the air fryer on repeat and the ninjas. Would definitely stay here again!! My group of 9 enjoyed the week we wish we didn’t have to leave!!

The house was absolutely stunning, fully renovated with a spacious fully loaded kitchen. The outside area was great with a small pool and large dock area with fish cleaning station, perfect for fishermen, especially those bringing their own boat. Check in and out was smooth and Meredith at Pineapple Properties was very responsive to any questions we had.
Overall highly recommended!

We had the best week at the Sunshade Villa. The house was amazing, the community was safe and tons of great things to do and places to eat. The private dock on the canal was one of our favorite parts, catching fish and watching the nurse sharks and manatees swim up daily. Truly a slice of paradise and some place we would love to return to. Thank you for providing such a wonderful home away from home.

Wow! This was the best rental property for 3 generations in a family of 6 people. The home was clean, modern, and had anything and everything we could have wanted. 4 full bathrooms with never ending hot water was a huge plus while everyone was showering. We had internet issues and someone came right out to fix the issue. My only complaint (which isn't really a complaint) is that I never saw a manatee swim by as other reviewers had mentioned:( The kayaks and paddle boards were a great thing to have too. Thanks for a great week!

We enjoyed a great week at this beautiful home. It had everything we needed. We loved hanging on the back porch after a fun day of fishing. We will definitely book again. The property management company did a great job making sure all our needs were met. Great home to enjoy a relaxing time in the Keys.

We had a wonderful week at Sunshade Villa. It was the perfect spot to make family memories. The accommodations were impeccably clean and it seemed like everything was so thoughtful....from providing kayaks, paddleboards and a high chair to knowing the importance of comfortable beds and furniture. We all felt at home and would certainly recommend this property to out family and friends.

This property was beautiful and so clean! The home was stocked with everything we could have ever needed during our stay. The canal was extremely easy to navigate to the ocean or bay with our boat. This location was everything we had hoped for from our summer vacation.

Our family absolutely adored this home! :) We thank you for wonderful stay! Our only feedback would be to consider adding a recycling option for trash pick up :)

We had 4 adults and 5 kids (aged 8-13) and were very comfortable. We were blown away by all of the amenities. They had pretty much anything you could think of and incredibly organized. We were on paddleboards and the kayak in the canal pretty much every day. The canal was like living on a live aquarium. The kids would go looking for sharks every night and we would always see at least 1. 1 day a manatee came and hung out in front of us for over an hour. Key colony beach was an amazing place to stay and see. The house was a short walk to sunset beach, where we often walked down to see the spectacular sunsets. It was easy to go for runs, walks, bike rides. The garage was fully loaded with ping pong, life jackets for everyone, pool noodles, games, beach chairs, bikes, tennis and pickle ball rackets with balls, freezer and a large cooler you can travel with.
We did get some bug bites at dusk/night when hanging out outside.
The property manager was great and attentive to anything we needed.
We all left thinking this was 1 of the greatest vacations we ever had and we just stayed at the house for many of the days. We would 100% go back to this house without any reservations.

This property was perfect for our large group that came and went over our month long stay. Everything we needed was available. House is very efficient / nice big bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living space. Outdoor space by the canal was lovely.

This property was amazing - loved the house - it was stocked with everything - we especially loved the paddle boards and kayak, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler, and ping pong table. The bikes were an added bonus. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Awesome week in Marathon!
We loved our trip to Marathon! House was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved being on that side of the canal so our afternoons were not baking in the direct sun. Loved the outside area, especially the turf around the pool! All the extras made our stay more enjoyable! I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation spot!
