Set in a lovely village, next to the little village shop and a minute walk across the road to a very good pub… it’s pretty perfect!
2 bedrooms, small little cottage but perfect for us. Dog absolutely loved it and the rear court yard was perfect for him.
Only slightly negative was the mattress was a bit soft for our poor backs.

Location excellent , no external noise , excellent boiler for hot water and heating, second bedroom useful for dressing storage etc. good fridge freezer and cooking facilities
Spongy mattress ( question of taste I suppose ) maybe shelved wardrobe in second bedroom might be more practical

Great location and walkable to the larger village of Tideswell (1 mile ) though village does have a shop and a pub that sells food really close. Great walks both from the property and within a short drive.
We only stayed the weekend but planned to cook. The kitchen was small and not as well equipped as I would have hoped. Missing crockery. I was also hoping for a coffee machine, which admittedly I hadn’t checked at booking, but have come to expect.
Also there was room for 4 people to stay and only 2 chairs for the table. Was curious as how 4 would be accommodated … but only curious as it didn’t affect us.

Lovely little cottage really comfy and clean, I cooked a full breakfast on the Saturday morning before heading over to the Red lion pub just over the road for a few swift ones.
I highly recommend this wonderful cottage for a quiet relaxing stay.
