Suatis Resort Kazbegi

Für diese Gegend, meiner Ansicht nach das Beste. Alles wirkt recht neu, gut gemacht. Wir hatten große Räume, haben Sauna benutzt und gefrühstückt. Wir waren drei Freunde in 3 verschiedenen Räumen und alle waren wirklich sehr glücklich mit diesem Hotel.

Good modern boutique hotel in a fantastic location surrounded by mountains. Very attentive staff! Huge parking area. Sport equipment to play football, badminton, volleyball, etc + a few board games. Sauna is a decent addition to a lovely stay.

The only problem is food: - main restaurant is closed, so you need to drive to have lunch or dinner; - breakfast is very basic with a pretty limited selection and plain taste; moreover, a breakfast area is not really super clean.

Brand new and high quality hotel building, excellent facilities. Very good value for money. Nice views

It feels all attention went into the building and facilities but not so much in the hospitality service offering. We did not feel a mindset to really try to serve the customer. Some examples: - the hotel is 4km outside Kazbegi and there is zero connectivity, except a 30GEL = 10€ taxi for each ride, which is crazy expensive for the country. This weakness should be foreseen and addressed eg by offering bike rental or cheap/free shuttle - tour options for the region do not exist. The staff was helpful but wrote down ideas on a post-it, showing clearly that the management does not think of the fact that customers all likely ask about excursions - the breakfast room is in the basement which is a shame. The views of the hotel are very nice so then why put the breakfast where people may wanna spend a nice morning, into the basement which makes you feel like in a university canteen. Also breakfast begin at 8am is somewhat late if you wanna go hiking. All of that is not rocket science but somehow the management does not seem to have those customer perspectives in mind. I hope they change that because it is a beautiful hotel with a lot of potential

Property is pretty new and well furnished.

It was deceiving that there was no dinner at the property , given that there are pictures of it . To get dinner/food you need to drive 20 min to nearest civilization point. There is a sauna but without any other amenities like locker rooms or showers , felt weird to use it. We were alone at the hotel at the time being , it felt like we intruded the staff that was alone at the location.
