If you want to save money by cooking in, this unit has an excellently appointed chef's kitchen with anything that you can think of to cook with available. There are many features that I don't remember reading about such as a Weber gas grill, and outdoor shower. There is plenty of room for seven adults and a one year old with all of her toys. There was a high chair and a Pack n Play there already so consider touching base with owner prior to your rental to see what you might be able to leave at home. Owners and local caretakers are super responsive and when we thought that we had a problem (but were wrong) they responded within minutes and someone came to the unit within 15 minutes to help us realized that there was no problem. Can't say enough about this unit and the owners. It is even walking distance from Food Lion! Yes this is a real and honest review by a renter from 5/12-5/19/23 :)

Amazing property and location! Saw dolphins from deck and walked the beach everyday. The location is perfect to get to Ocracoke island and visit the light houses. Kids had a great time and the house had all the beach equipment we needed. Hosts were responsive and helpful with a few small issues. We would love to stay here again!

What a sweet place! Had a lot of activities planned, but hard to leave the beautiful front deck so mostly just stayed and enjoyed the ocean view!

We really enjoyed the fantastic ocean front views this property offered. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need to cook family meals. Bathrooms could use some extra towels and wash cloths left out for use. Would rent again for sure.

The first thing I want to say is this property is STUNNING. I could not get over the views of the beach from the top deck, the luxury of the entire home, the damn near private beach. All of it was gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. We also loved the small gift of a beach blanket and cookies upon arrival, super sweet of the hosts! With that being said for a 3.6k stay in a million dollar home, there were minor details that could have made the stay that much more luxurious. My family friend noticed wasps, on all decks. I had not personally seen any nests and animals are unpredictable, especially at the beach! Though, for a dang near 4K cost, wasp nests on the decks is not something you want to worry about while on vacation, especially having a small child stay with us. Secondly, my sister, a maid by trade, noticed heavy dust under the dressers, thistles in the carpet on the stairs (also not great for kids especially!) and there looked to be a dried blood like stain on the wall near the bottom stairs. Again for the costs, you would expect a super clean space upon arrival. The jet tub looked more appealing than the experience ended up being because it took forever to fill up. I was also kind of sad the hammock was not on the master bedroom deck as pictured in the photos. Other than those minor details, the stay was beautiful and I 10/10 would come back again next year! Even for it being the off season it was a beach trip my family will never forget! Thank you Stacy, Karl and Lucy!

Wonderful home with room for everyone in our party. Area for child play could be viewed from the adult activities. And if we opened any slider or window in the direction of the ocean, we were treated to natures greatest symphony!

Nice property on a great part of the Avon beach conveniently located near the Food Lion and the pool. Property mgr Lucy very responsive on a few minor issues.

This home has wonderful views and very cute decor. Avon has a grocery store, some cute places to eat and a few shops. It is quieter than other parts of the outer banks. Go to swim, surf, fish and be with family. There are a lot of stairs, and a walk through hilly dunes to the beach. It can be a workout. But the beach is fabulous. The bedroom configuration include four rooms a queen room with no real view but in suite bathroom, the master with great view and deck with in suite bathroom, a third bedroom with a queen, ocean view and sitting area with couch, but share bathroom with the kids bunk room. The top deck could use both an umbrella and barstool height chairs to see over the railings. Great views,
