Great little place to stay in town - close to everything. Had all the amenities we needed and was super clean! The only thing I would want is some plastic drinking cups to take out on the porch when we sat on the cozy swing. Thanks for having us! We’ll be back!

We were very happy with this Upstairs Downtown property. The location is great because its an 8-10 minute walk to downtown, but not in the "paid parking" part of downtown where it can cost north of $40 a day to park. The unit is pretty small but perfectly fine for two people. The kitchen was clean and stocked, though we really didn't use it except to boil some water for tea and such. The bed was comfortable enough. It does appear to be two twin cushions pushed together, so there is a small seam in the middle. Not a big deal. The only real downside to the property was that there is only AC located in the living room. While not a problem during the cooler months, it was over 100 degrees during our time there and it made the bedroom a bit warm at night. It does have a ceiling fan, which certainly helps. Overall, we would stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Paso. Thank you to the hosts!

What a perfect getaway property! The Upstairs Downtown is located right in the middle of everything. We walked to all the downtown shops and restaurants, while enjoying the peace and quiet that comes from being a block away from the hustle and bustle. The unit is newly remodeled, spotless and very quiet. And the huge balcony was a great way to relax and start each day. Thanks!

Very nicely appointed one bedroom in a perfect location to walk downtown and easy access to vineyards in all directions. Quiet neighborhood. Everything you need for your stay is provided. The covered patio is an added bonus and a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine, rain or shine.

This was a no-contact rental, so we can't really comment on the quality of customer service, but everything was clean, quiet, and went off without a hitch for our 2-night stay. We really appreciated the full, chilled, Britta-syle filtered water in the fridge and the heated floor in the bathroom was unexpected. The living room was not very comfortable to sit in and the decor was a little funky throughout, including things like large bowls and knick knacks covering up the only available counter space in the bedroom and other key locations (hallway table, desk in LR), and the picture frames looked like they had stock photos in them. The bedroom was small and lacked space to place suitcases, which we ended up keeping in the living room. The bathroom design was just odd and discordant. Directions for using the heater were minimal but we eventually figured it out. There was no dedicated heater in the bedroom but the one in the living room heated the entire place unevenly but okay. Overall, considering the trade-offs one makes when opting for a home rental vs. a hotel, we felt this place was overpriced for our stay given the time of year, slapdash decor, and missing elements like heater-a/c in bedroom.

We had a great time in the upstairs downtown unit. A great place for two people. This location was so close to the pickleball courts and, of course, all the wineries. Plus another 40-minute drive and you are at the Ocean. We would stay again The only negative and it is a small one, but this place needs a good chef's knife in order to properly cut up food.

Excellent location and well equipped apartment. Comfortable bed and wonderful soaking tub. Walkable to downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. Would stay here again!!

Very clean, cozy and newer 1 bed vacation rental perfect for a couple. Loved having the full kitchen which was well equipped. Easy walk into downtown Paso for wine tastings and meals. Would definitely return.

Perfect location, well stocked kitchen, good size for a couple that was out and about most of the trip. Really enjoyed the king size bed and heated floors in the bathroom!

We had a wonderful time staying here and visiting Paso Robles. It was our first time, so we had no idea what to expect. The location is fabulous. We parked our car the first day and never used it again until we left for the airport. The owner is great to work with and quick to respond. Highly recommend this property. Julie

Liked where we stayed we did have a small issue, contacted manager and they said they would take care of it but it was never addressed. Overall we were happy but wish that would have been taken care of.

Great little bungalow about 3 blocks from all the restaurants and shops in Downtown Paso! Also very convenient for wine tasting. Check out/in was done via a monitor installed in the kitchen area... very easy! Maybe I'm old, but it's the first time I've seen this type of monitor. Nice, quaint unit with everything you need for a short stay. It even had my girlfriend's favorite coffee! It's not huge, but it's bigger than a hotel room and it was very charming and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Such an incredible spot to stay in Paso! I love that we were in the middle of everything. Tons of vineyards, breweries and food spots to go to. I loved how cozy the home was. Everything you need is in this place. I’ll be returning again soon.

The apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I. We stayed two nights and while we didn’t spend much time in the apartment, it was a fantastic location. Only a few blocks to everything in downtown Paso. The bathroom was also really neat, it had a towel warmer and the floors were heated too! I would definitely recommend couples to stay here.
