We stayed to go to NYC for Christmas and it was convenient and easy to get to the Penn Station! House has a lot of amenities and extras, my husband enjoyed the snacks! The neighborhood was loud and worrisome for me..I couldn’t find on street parking and while I was driving around and pulled over by a cop that told me I needed to get inside and stay inside! Didn’t have any issues with the house but just loud neighborhood compared to what we are used to! Check in very easy but not check out instructions given.

Easy to find and convenient to local landmarks. We used this as our base to visit NYC and the Statue of Liberty from Liberty State Park.

The apartment is great and close to everything. The parking wasn't bad. We did have to park on the street. Everything you need is available in the apartment. The place was clean. We would recommend the place to anyone looking for an affordable apartment near the city and MetLile/American Dream

We stayed for one night while in the area. Check in was super easy and Kimberly was a super host. She was very accommodating and quick to respond if we had a question.
Next door neighbors played their music very loud but not Kimberly's fault. We found street parking easily.

Pros:
* Host was responsive and easy to work with
* Apartment was spacious and had plenty of room for 5 people to be comfortable
* The decor was trendy and felt fresh and updated.
* Kitchen was lovely and had what we needed.
* On-street parking, but we were able to find a spot pretty easily.
Cons:
* The place needs some quick cosmetic love and drywall patches. A new couch would be a great investment.
* The cleaning company really needs to do a better job. It didn't look dirty at first, but a few things stood out after being there a few hours.
* The neighborhood was loud (music pounding from a neighbor until 2am on a Wednesday night).
Overall, it saved us a lot of money from staying in the city and we had room to spread out and be comfortable. I think if the owner talks to the cleaning company and does a bit of a refresh on the walls/couch, it'd be very close to ideal. Thanks for the hospitality!

Overall the house and cleanliness was great but there were a few things i did not like things were broken holes in the walls expired things in cabinets and fridge and communication with host was terrible she would not respond

The neighborhood does seem a little questionable, however this is not the hosts fault and its out of their control. The area does seem like several homes are getting renovated. Only two complaints, there were only three chairs to eat at the dining table, we had a group of six. Also, two of the guest were not a couple, so one opted to sleep on the sofa, however there were no extra blankets or sheets. It was no biggie, since it was a hot summer night, the guest was fine without. The extra amenities were great such as the keurig, condiments, & snacks, etc... Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

We were quite disappointed with the rental. The unit itself was quite clean, but that is the best I can say about it.
The neighborhood was quite bad, as this appeared to be the only reasonably maintained property within a 3-block radius. On-street parking was not readily available, so we had to park blocks away. And, despite communicating our concerns to the host, our Wi-Fi never operated correctly--- so, we eventually just gave up on trying. The small couch in the living area had no support in the middle of it, so it sagged close to the ground in the center. The towel holder in the master bathroom was not fixed to the wall, and there was no towel holder at all in the other bathroom.
We tried to make the best of it, but it was pretty horrible overall.

Place was not cleaned even after being told at 7pm. I change my plans to accommodate them to clean. They said she will have someone take care of it. If it wasn’t because I was there for a funeral I would of took my family elsewhere.
Sofa was broken and no place to eat or sit as a family. We booked because it was supposed to accommodate 6 adults. If you gonna just stay in the bed all day this location is for you.
Fridge, stove and living areas looks like they haven’t been clean in a while. WiFi didn’t work at all.

Very spacious unit. Overall it was ok but several improvements recommended. First the neighborhood needs investing in. Lots of garbage everywhere & very loud music all evening. it badly needs to be painted. Towel rack broken in master bath. No flat sheet to cover up with, fridge wasn’t clean. Finally we never received check out directions.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was only 15-20 mins to American Dream Mall which was great. The first couple of nights parking on the street was fine, we were able to park right in front. However, the last two nights the parking spaces in front were taken so we had to find parking on the street down from the house. The only down-side is that there was only ONE television in the living area and the sofa there should definitely be replaced with something much better. I traveled with kids and it was a hassle when we got back in to wind down and there was only the one television. 🙃 The neighborhood wasn't too bad, it was quiet for the majority of the time. There are not many food places near either so getting groceries worked better for us.

Kim was an outstanding hostess!! She accommodated us the entire trip and even afterwards when I had a guess who accidentally left several items, she was more than understanding. The property was clean and depicted accurately. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone I know visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Kimberly’s home, we loved the open kitchen/living room. It made anyone cooking feel included. Everything was clean and comfortable. American dream mall is only a 20 minute ride away so the location was perfect. Thank you for having us as guest !

We love the house, it was very nice, clean, Location was good not to bad areas, very quite. The host was very nice and helpfully. We had a lovely stay. There was no wine and the living room was cold even though it heat was on, need some better curtains on the windows room. Other than we enjoyed our little weekend getaway.

The property is very spacious. Much bigger than the photos online. The owner was very responsive to replace a chirping battery in a smoke detector we found when we arrived.
The photos indicated that the gift basket would include a bottle of wine, but in reality, it was only a basket of different chips. I was really looking forward to that on our arrival.

Nice place to stay visiting NYC for the weekend. Not too far from the train station. The place was clean. The host was excellent. A little noise upstairs at night but nothing too consistently excessive. And the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but we figured going in, just worth noting. No problems at all though!

We love the house. It was clean and spacious. The location is not too good and it was noisy on that Friday night (after midnight). I guess there was a party that we can hear it from the master bedroom.

-listing includes A/C, but after using it for 1.5 hours at night when the thermostat was reading 77 deg, the maintenance personnel came into the apartment at 1am (scaring all of us) for fear that the pipes would freeze; Kimberly tried to call ahead of time, but our phones were on silent; no fans or other options for cooling down the space were provided
-when we got there, there was poop in the master suite toilet

This was a nice place. It looks exactly as pictured. The host was very helpful with everything prior to our trip and while we were there. I have a few suggestions, cookware for the oven, new couch in living area, tv's in rooms and more chairs for dinning area.

We booked this property for a recent trip to NY for a concert in the city. We were pleased with the cleanliness, updates, and ease of access of the property. Our check in details didn't send automatically through the app, but Kimberly was so prompt in returning my call so we could access the home upon our arrival. The listing reflects the home accurately, and we were pleased with the overall upkeep of the property and living areas and bedrooms. The kitchen was equiped with basic necessities, and the snack and coffee provided were a nice touch. Navigating into the city was relatively easy, with a quick Uber ride to Penn Station in Newark and then taking a train into NYC. Kimberly has done a great job with this rental.

The rental was exactly as described. We were very pleased with the extra touches like the snacks, fully stocked coffee and plenty of towels. Also loved the quality iron. The unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. The on street parking was only slightly challenging.

Nice in Newark
This space was very spacious & beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the quite modern. I felt at home & the king sized bed so comfortable & perfect to sleep on. There was an issue on my last night with the neighbors making noise late at night. However I contacted the host & it was handled expeditiously! I would gladly here the next time that I am back in town.
