This is probably the cleanest rental home we have ever stayed in; even the bathroom was spotless. The living room had a comfortable, giant sectional. It made for excellent lounging after a day of activities. The kitchen has about everything you need to prepare meals, but the hosts have recommended restaurants as well. The ACs in every room were delightful, though it was often comfortable enough to have the windows open and ceiling fan on. We also made good use of the propane grill and patio table. We only stayed a few days, but enjoyed paddleboarding, swimming in the lake, outdoor lounging, and nearby dining and shopping. We also visited the Buck Brook Alpaca Farm in Roscoe (a quick drive away and great for families). Though the inside of the house was immaculate, the lake area is plagued with pollen in the spring. This is not the hosts' issue, but they made every effort to clear the debris from the patio area and the gazebo.  The unit is a standalone building behind the hosts' house. The big house is on the lake, and this is just behind it. It is only a small slope away from the water. This may make it less accessible for those with mobility issues, including the fact that the house entrance is up a flight of stairs. But you have a lot of privacy, and the incline down to the water is not too steep. All-in-all, we had a great time! The hosts are very friendly, and were quick to respond to any request or question during our stay. We plan to visit again in the future.

Enthusiastically writing a review of our VRBO.We loved our stay this past weekend May 2026. We were a party of 4 adults.Home was spotless, well decorated and so cozy and comfortable. The attention to detail was impressive. Love the views of the lake. We were there for a concert at Bethel Woods. The quick drive to and from the venue made this choice exceptional. The lake was beautiful and relaxing full of sunshine. We wish we had more time to enjoy the kayaks. Looking forward to going back soon!! Hosts Glenn and Kim are the absolute best. We hit the jackpot with meeting them!!

The place is gorgeous! Quiet, spectacular view of the lake. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

First, Glen and Kim are awesome. They saved us time the very first night clueing us in to a back way over to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts prior to going to the concert we had come up to attend. Saved us time and made it super easy to get there. The apartment itself is very nicely laid out, and really comfortable for a small group. We had 3 (me, wife and daughter) and it was perfect for us. It was super hot the weekend we were up, but we didn't take advantage of the lake to swim, but did sit down on the dock for awhile and just relax. Glen and Kim provide a great list of things to do and places to eat and we tried several of those during our stay. The apartment and neighborhood are extremely nice and we truly enjoyed our stay.
