Great little home to stay in right on a good spot on the lake. You can rent jet skis right up the street and the dock is only one house over.

We loved this home for our first time visiting Lake of Egypt! It's tucked away in a quiet cove. We were able to enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, hiking at Garden of the Gods and some pretty amazing fireworks during the 4th of July weekend! Ron was so kind and we appreciated the wine! The memories made here were priceless! Hope to plan another trip soon! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

Wife and I visited for long weekend. Great place, newly remodeled. Ron and Linda went above and beyond to make sure we were welcomed, and Ron even shared one of his fishing hotspots with me. Covered, private boat dock was perfect for keeping the boat in the water during our stay. Cute, cozy, comfortable was how my wife summed it up.

We played in the Shawnee National Forest for a couple of days before heading to Kentucky to get our new puppy. Beautiful area, and the house was perfect for our stay. I would stay again if ever in the area.

It was a very well put together, small lake house. Just perfect for spending time on the lake and everyone - even the neighbors - were accommodating and welcoming.

The home worked well for me and my son. We had our fishing boat, and the boat dock is great, it offered electricity for our boat's battery chargers. Fishing on the lake was incredible! The access to the home was easy, very clean and very modern accommodations, Air conditioning was appreciated with the warm and humid weather, we wish it had a toaster, but we survived.
We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

We did a relaxing sister weekend getaway and could not have asked for a better location. Not only was the location peaceful with an amazing view of the lake, but the neighbors were exceptional as well even offering suggestions of local hangouts. The property itself is cozy and very well taken care of. Ron was great to work with. He was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home. It is obvious the owners have put a lot of love into making this the perfect lake retreat.

An amazing, peaceful property
We did a relaxing sister weekend getaway and could not have asked for a better location. Not only was the location peaceful with an amazing view of the lake, but the neighbors were exceptional as well even offering suggestions of local hangouts. There is also a cute little fire pit out back. We would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful set of owners.
I couldn't of asked for better hospitality considering I'm from the deep south.I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking fir a relaxed chill environment.My only suggestion Is bring a boat.

Owners were great to work with and checked in to make sure things were going well during our stay. House is 25 minutes from Marion and 35 minutes to Carbondale and SIUC. We will be staying at Lake of Egypt again and will check into this house first when traveling back this way!

Perfect home on the water
The property was extremely clean, put together and comfortable. Plenty of extras for the stay. Ron and Linda were very friendly and helpful. As well as left some gifts for the kids and us upon arrival. Recommended A++. Will be staying again here. Parking was great for the trailer and dock worked great for the boat as welll.
