Best Western M-Treize Paris Asnieres

Jad (I hope I got his name correct) was a lovely member of staff, always making time for conversations and truly taking care of us as customers. Some of the other front desk staff could be a bit more friendly and professional, in comparison to him and other branches we have stayed at.

Unfortunately, we usually stay at the La defence branch and they didn’t have any rooms available for the dates we booked (for a funeral and in a rush), so we booked this instead and the rooms had carpets. If there were other options instead of carpets such as hard wood floors, it would be beneficial for the customer (like us) who have allergies to carpets. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a business trip to the Colombes area. Room was as expected. 2 twin beds acting as a double isn't ideal but not a deal breaker. Had a rainfall shower so that was good. Asked for a quiet room and they put me at the back of the hotel. It was nice and quiet so slept well. Beds not as plush as some hotels but again not an issue. Didn't have to use the aircon and as others have said, you can actually open the windows. Also has a kettle and coffee maker. WiFi was good enough for internet browsing but the TV used the internet as well and the signal/picture was poor. Only 2 UK channels but you can stream stuff to the TV if you want to watch something from a device. Breakfast was okay - some bread, cereals, ham/cheese and some hot food (scrambled eggs, sausage and hash browns). Enough not to go hungry but not a massive choice. Hotel is about 40 mins in a taxi from CDG but can be more if you hit rush hour. I chose the location due to it being close to my meeting place. It is in a residential/business area, so not the most tourist focussed. Don't complain about the location - that is what maps were invented for. The price also reflects the fact that it is not central Paris. The hotel is right on top on the M13 metro into Paris and takes about 40 mins to the centre. There are also bus and tram stations outside so you can easily get around. The staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and always available. I'm gluten free and at breakfast they offer you a couple of GF cakes. Nothing fancy but it's something. Overall, it's exactly what I expected for the money. For a business trip it serves it's purpose and I would stay there again as my priority is location and a good nights sleep. If you want something posher with more breakfast options that is more central to Paris, you'll have to pay more money (and look at a map).

Minor niggles were 2 single beds masquerading as a double. Weak WiFi/TV. Limited breakfast choice, particularly as I'm gluten fee. Nothing terrible though.

Clean and comfortable room, modern design, friendly staff, and a great convenient location.

Everything was good overall.

Lage und Parkhaus

Ein etwas aufmerksameres Verhalten des Personals gegenüber den Gästen wäre wünschenswert. Besonders Begrüßungen wie ‚Guten Morgen‘ oder Verabschiedungen wie ‚Auf Wiedersehen‘ fehlen leider. Das Frühstück wurde zwar bis 11 Uhr angeboten, jedoch waren bereits um 9:30 Uhr einige Behälter leer und wurden nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Für ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich mir eine etwas größere Auswahl gewünscht.
