We had a great weekend! The house is so cozy and feels like you’re in a secluded cabin. The screened patio overlooking the lake and dock was amazing. I would have given 5 stars but to me it needed more in the description about amenities. The beds were very comfy and everyone slept great. The pictures showed a canoe and my son was really excited to go out and fish on it but it was not there, unfortunately. Which would have been fine if we knew ahead of time and would have brought our own. There were also no extra blankets so again would have brought our own if we knew. I’m sure this is because there is no washer and dryer in the house which is fine but would have been more prepared with bedding. While the amenities didn’t list a washer and dryer it might be helpful to specifically put in the description that there is not a washer/dryer on site and also to bring extra blankets or bedding if you want to have anyone sleep on a couch. The kitchen was pretty well stocked though and the house was really clean! So overall it is a great house and we would definitely go back!

Our family had a great time.we could have used more toilet paper

Nice house

Check in was great, we did arrive in Effingham earlier than expected. We texted to see if we could enter the house earlier. We were texted back and the house was ready an hour earlier for us, which was wonderful. Kitchen was accommodating with good counter space & room. Fridge could have used a bit better cleaning. There were lots of crumbs of food in the door food/drink holders & on the shelves.
