The views from the higher rooms is brilliant, the balcony’s are big and the infinity pool was good for chilling and relaxing. Wayan and the staff tried hard to make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible. Ideal for a couple who are just happy to stay in the hotel.

The road up to the property is very very steep with loose shingle, so even as walkers we found it a challenge. The electricity went off while we were there for 4 or 5 hours, and the hotel has no generator, so a torch and power bank are a good choice. The main issue was when you got down to the main road, it was filthy, dusty, dirty and literally nothing around you. There is no choice of anywhere else to eat except the hotel unless you get a 15 min taxi ride or use a scooter. Penida itself was very disappointing, it looks like they are trying to upgrade the drains and roads which means there is constant dust and no pavements so you can’t walk anywhere. The roads everywhere on the island were atrocious, every bone aches after a day trip.

The staff were amazing, friendly, great service and willing to assist with anything. Even when we had checked in at the last moment and needed a ride from our previous accommodation they were able to organise us a ride and get us to there accomodation. The place was clean, had an amazing view, a big pool. Overall a very pleasant experience for us, great location too with shops and restaurants just down the road.

Nothing comes to mind

Loved the pool with the view, and the location of the rooms waking up to the sunrise and seeing the mountains and volcano of Bali across the water. The room was beautiful and the perfect size for 2 people with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. To be given a top floor room with unobstructed view made for the best experience. Staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating. It was quiet and peaceful and exactly what you want for a getaway in Nusa Penida.

Sheets and pillowcases appeared a little worn with some small stains but everything else seemed clean and staff did an amazing job of making up the room when we went out.

Very friendly and supportive people, excellent food and breakfast. Overall, the view and the pool area is lovely. You can book a driver at the hotel to show you the island.
