Hotel 365 Bronx - Yankee Stadium

It was a real great place. Centrally located, they have their own parking lot, pretty affordable, and clean. The staff was nice and the room was quiet. I liked most of all the fact that the room was clean! It was also only 5 minutes walk from the metro.

The light switch was linked to the outlet, so the lights had to be on if you wanted to charge your phone next to the bed. The room AC struggled.

My second room was much better and made the rest of my stay more comfortable. It was cleaner, the sheets and bathroom were in better condition, the Wi-Fi and TV worked, and I was able to work without issues. After staying for several days, I also had good experiences with the staff. The front desk became very helpful, and the housekeeping staff were always kind and understanding.

My first night was disappointing. Several outlets/electrical areas in my room were not working, the Wi-Fi was down for the entire night, the TV was not working properly, and I heard strange noises. The sheets also had visible holes/burn marks and did not feel well maintained, so I requested a room change myself. There was also a frustrating pricing issue: shortly after booking, the rate dropped by roughly $500 USD, but because my reservation was non-refundable, the hotel would not adjust or accommodate the price difference. Breakfast was advertised, but I never actually saw it during my stay, and the breakfast hours were extremely limited.

Good room, clean, helpful staff, decent price

Bronx feels scary, isolated, also, rooms are somewhat small, like not very luxurious or anything, no kettle, no restaurant as part of the hotel, no cloak room to keep luggage if you arrive early, no toilets to go to or chairs to sit on and wait if you happen to reach before check in time. The shower head was broken. In spite of that the bathroom was very clean and pretty, and impressive.

It was clean and the housekeeping was prompt to provide us the toiletries or clean towels upon the request.

Generally, I don't think it's right to be overly demanding, but considering the price paid, the location is far from good—or even safe. There are absolutely no breakfast options, either at the property or in the surrounding area, where I didn't feel safe at all to walk to far, but we tried. There is a shop nearby, but that’s it; there’s nowhere to get a decent coffee to sit down. I do not recommend it at all. I made a reservation for three nights and even requested—in writing—that it be cancelled for the other two nights, even if a fee applied, yet I received no response. I saw no interest in helping customers. No one asked if we needed housekeeping during our three-day stay, and although there were two of us, they provided only one shampoo—even though there were two bars of soap. There was no hairdryer unless requested, and all other essentials were available only upon request.
