We had a great stay and even saw a bear cub run through the woods! I would highly recommend booking here if you want something cozy and secluded!

Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! The home was immaculate and the views were stunning! We loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds as the wind blew through the trees. It was so peaceful and it made it difficult to leave for a day of hiking. At night we loved listening to music on the porch, sitting by the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub! The beds are super comfortable and the home literally has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a stay! We got the pleasure of meeting Charles and his super sweet dogs! Charles is super cool, and an amazing host! He was so accommodating and super responsive! I cannot thank him enough for allowing us to celebrate our 15 year anniversary on his property! Our top priority when staying somewhere is cleanliness. They definitely hit the mark! It was spotless! We loved everything about this cabin! It was perfect for me and my husband during our little getaway! Highly recommend!

We really had a great time at the cabin. We loved the interior and freshness of the cabin. It gives a very warm and comfortable feel, and we have to rank this number one in cleanliness and comfort feeling from all the properties we stayed in. You can tell the owners take extremely well care of the property, and it does not feel like a rental, but more at staying at your own house. Please do not change that!

The house was great. The front deck was great. The back deck was great. The hot tub was great. The speaker system was great. Cell service was not great but that was the point.

The house is absolutely amazing, super new and super clean. Was a wonderful getaway tucked into the mountains. My favorite part were the speakers in the porch and in the house that were easy to link to, so you could play music all the time. Made for a great atmosphere. Charles told us how to turn on the “light show” while we were out in the hot tub and it was amazing! So many little details he made sure to think about and it showed. We loved the screened in porch and so did the pup! I’d go back in again in a heartbeat, we felt pampered even out in the wilderness

We had an amazing week at Little Bee Woods. We spent the days hiking and exploring the beautiful mountains and nights relaxing on the screened in porch, resting in the hot tub and playing games with our kids. The kitchen was spectacular to cook in with out having to go out for dinner. The hosts were great and responded quickly with any questions.

We loved the cottage! Had everything we needed and more. The house was clean with comfortable beds and an awesome private feeling. Communication with the property owner was great, he was so helpful! We loved coming back here after a busy day. Will be back!

We had an excellent stay. The house and property are very nice (i.e. brand new). The kitchen is incredibly equipped. The bedrooms and living area are very comfortable. We took advantage of the hot tub and especially the screened-in porch where you can soak in the best of nature (without those nasty pests of nature). The road leading up to this perfect escape is rugged and it helps to have all-wheel drive. But once on top, you'll never want to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Bee Woods. The screen porch feels larger than the pictures. It was our favorite place. It's so peaceful listening to the Hooded Warblers, Blue Headed Vireos, Pileated Woodpeckers among others. We spent most every afternoon just enjoying the surroundings from the porch. Even when a little warm out, the fan made it comfortable. The other deck is nestled in the woods so that you can easily see wildlife from up in the tree canopy. Inside the house is spotlessly clean. The beds are especially comfortable and we slept well. The gas stove and oven are appreciated for whatever cooking is needed. A nice change from the typical electric stoves in vacation rentals. It was relatively easy to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway which is where we spent most of our days. The hosts were respectful and gave us our privacy, but made sure we had everything we needed. I really hated to leave and will definitely be back.

My family had a wonderful vacation at Little Bee Woods. It’s a super special property, that gave us a space to unwind, connect and explore both the land around the property and other adventures in the area. The home was pristine, beds comfortable (we all slept very well!), and kitchen beautifully equipped with everything we needed. I spent several hours reading on the porch while the kids ran around and explored. Charles, the host was super communicative and helpful. My kids are already asking when we can go back…we will definitely return!

If you are debating on booking the Little Bee Woods, let me help you decide! Book it! This was the first outing my husband and I took with our two small dogs and it was amazing! This place is gorgeous. Plenty of beds and space to sleep. Everything is super clean and incredibly well stocked. The decor is beautiful, everything is new and the whole place feels calming. The screened in patio. Just wow. It’s the place I spent the most time. If there isn’t a natural breeze outside they have a fan to help that out. It’s quiet and lovely. The kitchen!!!! Second place I spent the most time! I don’t want to leave it! 😂. So well stocked with great pots and pans, sharp knives, super cool plates. They even have spices stocked for you! I noticed too, in the closet there is a Turkey pan and cute baskets…so if you’re up here over a holiday…no worries! Keurig, bodem drip coffee maker, hot water pot will let you have your choice of morning beverages! And get this…they have an ice machine!!! Not like in the freezer machine…a stand alone bullet ice maker! Also a fresh water filter for ice cold water! The Sonos sound system was easy to set up to and made it so fun to be able to listen to your music inside and out. The bathrooms were clean, beautiful and well stocked. It’s like the owners sat in their place and just thought…what can we add to make this place perfect???? And then added that! Even had ice cold mugs in the freezer!!!! Perfect place for a get away!

We rented Little Bee Woods as our vacation home during a trip to Asheville and were so happy with our stay! The home was beautiful, clean, and sat on the most beautiful piece of property. We had the opportunity to meet Charles during our stay and he was so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have picked a better place to enjoy our time in North Carolina. Little Bee Woods gave us the tranquility we were searching for while still being close proximity to the city. We would 100% rent here again!

This was such an amazing trip and property! From the sunsets to the silence of the mountains it puts your mind at ease. Such an amazing property with great host. It is truly a must see and experience plus your just a hop away from Asheville too!

Pictures don't do Little Bee Woods justice, beautiful quality home with everything you could need or want. So quiet and peaceful, amazing views from the screened porch or the hot tub. We loved every moment from the home. The owner provided the highest level of service and communication, exceeded our expectations. Cannot say enough about this location too, so many wonderful places to eat and things to do nearby in Black Mountain or in Asheville. Excellent memorable trip!

We spent a long weekend at Little Bee Woods. It was a beautiful escape within a 20-minute drive to downtown Asheville and Black Mountain. The house is well-equipped, new, clean, and communication was great! We wouldn't change a thing!

This place checks all the the boxes if you're looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful getaway. The house is brand new and just really well crafted. The art on the walls, the tile in the bathrooms, and the super cool Morrocan looking tiles behind the stove make it feel like more than a vacation rental. The kitchen is better stocked for actual cooking any vacation rental I've ever stayed a, and ther's even an ice maker. Every window in the house looks out into the forest and surrounding ridges so it feels like you are submerged in a forest wonderland. Coming from suburban Ohio, I couldn't believe how quiet it is, nothing but the sounds of nature. On top of all that you can sit in a hot tub under the night sky and feel like you are the only ones in the forest. The hosts are also very welcoming and gave us some great suggestions on dining and places to go in the Asheville area. We will be back for sure.

Such a gorgeous cabin up on a hill---wonderful mountain views, fully stocked kitchen and a hot tub--what more can you ask for?! How about a host who goes the extra mile to communicate? Well Little Bee Woods has that too! Charles was amazing, our time up in the mountains was full of wonderful Christmas memories, sweet cookies and cheer. We are so thankful we chose to stay here, it was breathtakingly perfect! We will be back!

The house exceeded our expectations. We love the mountains and normally go to the high country/boone area, but now that we found Little Bee Woods, we plan to visit here more frequently. Very cozy and welcoming. The owner was extremely responsive and available to answer all of our questions. You can tell that a lot of thought and love went into creating the cottage at Little Bee Woods. Our 6yo daughter slept great and had so much fun exploring the area. A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Charles and Virginia were very accommodating and great at communication. The house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with gourmet cookware. The beds are comfortable. Everything is clean, nice and new. Beautiful mountain views from the cozy screened in porch. We cannot wait to rent this property again! This secluded mountaintop getaway really let's you soak in the quiet woods and peaceful views and is only a 20 minute drive from downtown Asheville or nearby Black Mountain. You get to the house by driving up a winding yet easy to navigate gravel road that takes you higher and higher around each turn as you get further from the main road. At the top of the driveway, you actually look over the roof to expansive and stunning ridgeline views that run along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The home was super clean upon arrival and was much more spacious than we anticipated. All of the comforts of home are included, and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans and china. We brought our fur babies (2 German Shorthaired Pointers) and they loved being wild and free here during our stay.
