Place was adorable, across the street from Gold Beach Access, miles of beach front to walk. Yes it’s across the street with the main road in front I had no issues with noise can always sleep in back bedroom if noise sensitive but not much car noise at night. Definitely can cook nicely in kitchen & very roomy We loved it!

House was clean. Easy beach access. We had two dogs and it was nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach - especially because there is almost no grass anywhere on the street for them to go to the bathroom. The smoke alarms are almost right in the kitchen - I set them off multiple times- I had to learn patience and cook at lower temperatures which was totally fine.

Overall the property was clean, amazing views and all the amenities we needed for this trip. Definitely, would stay here again.

Furnishings and appliances new and comfortable. Parking closeness to buildings, construction behind house and highway noise do not allow for much privacy or relaxation. We would not make this one of our vacation getaway for our many coastal visits.

A clean, well maintained place, with great views of the sea, from the deck. Walking distance from the market and ocean. We had a great vacation, staying at this place.

Great views. Had trouble with hot water but was fixed immediately. Plenty of space and nicely laid out. AWESOME views. Can walk to everything. Great beach walks too.

For 4 days there was a lady doing lawn work like weed eating and she kept throwing rocks on the deck and hitting the sides of the house. We never knew when she'd show up but then we would hear the rocks pelting the walls and deck. On certain times of heavy traffic you can really hear the cars n trucks going by. We tried to bring our garbage out and it was running over, the next day the cans were gone. CJ

Easy access to the beach, nice kitchen, nice outdoor space, dog friendly, very clean.

The house was adorable, comfortable beds, new build with nice touches and eclectic beachy decorations. The view of the ocean was beautiful. It is truly dog friendly......big dog beds, bowls for both water and food. It was doggy heaven. BBQ worked beautifully as did all the appliances. Some reviews mentioned Hwy 101, you will hear cars but didn't keep us awake. Beach access is a short walk across the hwy and the visitor center for Gold Beach was in the parking lot where you access the beach. There are other beaches to drive and visit both north and south of GB as well. Redwoods are an hour drive south, Dunes are an hour(ish) drive north and all sorts of other beaches in between. Cons: Would have appreciated a hose for the spigot as our dog brought back 1/2 the beach sand every time we went which was at least 2x a day. An in house directory of everything we need to know would be helpful....trash day? When and where to take trash cans, etc? There is still some new house construction happening on the east side of the house which was a little bit of an eye sore but didn't look like it would be going on much longer as the new builds are almost done. There was no construction noise (PRO). I would have rated a 5 stars but felt like I spent more time than I wanted communicating with the management company with little things that could be solved with a directory of information.

#1 BEDS were super comfortable...in my opinion, at 57, this has become the most important thing you can have in a vacation rental home. Thank the owners for spending a bit more on comfortable beds. #2 well appointed kitchen...my wife is a fabulous cook and she loves cooking with gas... excellent range with good selection of nonstick pans. #3 clean with hard floors (not carpet). In this day in age, having a rental property that is easily cleaned is a must. Carpet, no matter how hard you try, you'll never get it as clean as a hard surface. This place was very clean.

This place is very new-which is nice! Although some amenities like covered coffee mugs for early morning beach walks would make it nicer since beach access is so close! The noise of 101 is an issue. While outside it blends in with the ocean, but at night with a window open all you hear is cars and trucks. I would recommend as a good location for exploring up and down the coast, but if you are looking to ocean watching/listening from the deck I wouldn't recommend.

Porter's Paradise was wonderful! I am particular and this place was perfectly clean! Do not hesitate to book (even if you do not have a dog). There is noise from the hwy, but it quiets down at night and didn't affect our sleep. The king size bed was so comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped even has foil, plastic wrap and sandwich bags to make your picnic lunch. Appreciated the filtered water and ice maker, also having new soap and sponge to do dishes. Amazing location across the street from Gold beach visitor center, close to the scenic corridor, Rouge river, and many more places to explore just north of town. Would love to visit again!

Brand new home with all the luxuries of home….even a bed for our dog.

The house is brand new so that was so nice, super clean, had everything we needed. The view was amazing!!!!!! Exactly as described and so nice that our fur baby was allowed. We will definitely stay again!!!

The view is 5-star - all new appliances - quiet - even with the construction in the neighborhood- we never saw or heard any of the equipment, and people were very courteous when we pulled in and out of the driveway. Two bathrooms are super nice - the TV works great with all the usual channels - but the sunsets in the summer on that deck will be amazing to see. I coded quite a bit of software here and she just unwound from a nursing contract - it was that kind of a place to us.
