The home was beautiful, and the stay was nice! I along with my family toured NYC and could come back for a rest. Everything was great, the host constantly communicated the messages. Only until the checkout when I was forcibly made to pay $$ for 10:30AM checkout in place of 10AM. This was due to miscommunication that the cleaning guys would be at the door at 10 AM, we were all ready with luggage outside but didn't see anybody come so we took it slightly easy, assuming the cleaning lady didn't show up yet! And then at 10:30 AM, the cleaning lady shows up and claims to be waiting outside. And the Host is behaving like a Cop, making me pay $$ more, at a charge of $ per minute! I paid haplessly, but this left such a bad taste and washed away all the good experiences!! I would have paid if she put clearly on the Listing about the Penalty Charges per minute for late checkouts!! We had a 1.5-year-old toddler, and she could just send a message at 10 AM that the cleaning person was outside. No, she waits until 10:30 AM to penalize. Until before that there are messages for everything!! So beware of this!! No exemptions for late checkout!

We have never had such an outstanding experience before, this property and host is truly exemplary in how well they take care of you and the property. Super clean, like spotless. We also loved the parking right in front of the property, so rare in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

House was nice, recently renovated, beds were comfortable, very clean, off street parking, full amenities.

Property is cozy, quaint and comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and centrally located just across the bridge from NY. I found no stone left unturned as everything I needed was available; from labeled kitchen dressers/cabinets to the bed in the master suite being very inviting and relaxing. As well, the desk and internet speed met ALL requirements to efficiently handle business. This will be my go to for travel to the NY/NJ area!.

This place was perfect for our week in the city. There were five of us and the space was perfect. The listing is super accurate to the house and it is within walking distance to the train to hit the PATH and then Subway to NYC. Nancy was very accommodating and the house had everything we needed and more. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall, great space.

Six ladies of a certain age from Canada made a visit to NYC to celebrate a special birthday. We went to Moulin Rouge and out for dinner. This home was very easy to get to and travel around from. The owner was extremely responsive and friendly, the home perfect for our needs. Highly recommend

I cannot speak the words of how awesome Nancy is. Every ounce of her is just so kind and loving. we absolutely will be staying with Nancy again when we come back. She is a sweet kind hostess and shows real concern and compassion towards her guests. She is friendly and wants to be your friend. The apartment was so clean you could eat off the floor. There was lots of towels and wash cloths, the kitchen setup was like being at home; all the cabinet draws were labeled which made it very easy to find what you needed and, return items to its proper place. Nancy thought of everything. She provided items like tooth brushes and tooth paste, razors, bandages, tylenol, nail clipper, nail file, and twizers. There was so many items I don't have enough room to name them all. What was surprising is there was a gift basket when we arrived; this has never happened at any place I've ever stayed at. Nancy was available during the entire stay and she was more than accomodating. If you want an outstanding experience you need to stay here. Whenever we're coming back to visit New York we won't stay anywhere but here. THANKS NANCY!!!!!!!

Nancy is the host & she is amazing. She was always in communication with us prior to & during our stay. She had a welcome gift for us when we arrived. We got in late so she got us a couple pizzas. She didn't want us to have to worry about finding a place to eat that late. We ask Nancy where we could get a view of the NYC skyline, w/o hesitation she showed us. We went to the Waterfront & she told us where to park. I highly recommend going to the Waterfront (2 2nd ST) to get a view of the NYC skyline at night. You can't see Lady Liberty, the Liberty State Park is a 5 min drive; there is a boardwalk there with great views as well. Simply put: Nancy is outstanding and goes above and beyond. She treats you like FAMILY! This apartment is in Jersey City, NJ which was safe & cheaper alternative than having to stay in NYC. It's a 5 min walk to the light rail (Richard ST-you need a separate card then the Metro Card) which takes you to the Exchange Place where you get on the Metro that drops you off at the Oculus Center (World Trade Center). It's about a 20 min ride into the city. After taking the light rail the first day we chose to drive to the Exchange Place and park there (it was cheaper to park than to pay for a rail pass and metro pass for 7 people). Apartment: Nancy has thought of EVERYTHING! There is WiFi, travel guides you can use on your trip, umbrellas for you to use if needed, she even had metro cards in the desk that you could use to load money on. There were enough towels & wash cloths for everyone. Our family of 7 (5 adults & 2 kids) were very comfortable. There is only 1 bathroom so just make plans accordingly & it is fine. There's a Washer/Dryer in the basement. Just NOTE: it does take quarters ($3.00 per load) so make sure you plan accordingly. Nancy provided all cleaning supplies if needed. She supplied baskets in all the bedrooms w/ items you might need (toothbrush, mouthwash, face masks, etc). The bathroom had a caddy w/ laundry supplies, nail file/clippers, etc. You did not have to strip the beds or wash the dishes like most rentals (just load the dish washer). The beds were comfortable. Nancy really went above and beyond. We will definitely stay here again.
