The furnishings were new, modern, and well kept. Loved the lights on the bed of my room. A fun, cute, unexpected touch! Proximity to the subway, the bright and airy decor, and the thoughtfulness of the owner were appreciated.

While there wasn't anything to keep me from returning or recommending others, some things could improve. The room was tiny compared to what I saw in the pictures. I believe the one beside mine was larger but I wasn't aware of an option. And the TV, though almost the width of the room😮, did not go online so no personal IMAX in the 🛏️ for me with Netflix and HBO unable to connect. That would have been different 👍 Still it was really super nice of the owner to leave a tablet and charger so I could have a little entertainment. The bathroom could have been cleaner from the bidet buttons 😮 to the shower curtain. Not filthy, but not conducive to being totally comfortable. Lastly, and this has happened before, perhaps due to remodeling and not rewiring, but, the light switch was on the outside of the bathroom door! Why🤔😕??? That's not a place you want to be vulnerable and indisposed. Someone flips a switch and you're plunged into darkness in the little girls room of a rental with 3 unknown persons😳::: Yes a little improvement is necessary, yet overall I was comfortable. It is certainly worth the minor issues for the bargain, the comfort, and the convenience.🙏🏽

The property was near so many things and it was so easy to just walk around from that neighborhood.

They kept the room we were in clean, but the shared areas could have been entirely better. The restrooms weren’t clean and the kitchen had food from previous people still in it. We did not use any of those things. We just ate out the weekend we were there

Far from beach and Coney Island. Need to improve reception with local statiuns( travelers love to check in with local news and weather)

Room, bathroom and kitchen were clean. Barhroom was equiped with washing stuff (shampoo, towels, toilet paper).

It's 1 hour away from the Manhattan center, so keep in mind before to reserve in case you want to do tourism.

You are staying in a familys house. There are many private things in the bathroom and the kitchen is right outside the room. The host family waked us up at midnight starting to talk really loud and slaming kitchen doors etc so we could not sleep. The propery is right next to a big road. So you hear the cars all night. I hate to be this negative but we had a bad overall experience.

I loved my stay here. They make the effort to be sure your room is nice, clean, and extra comfortable. I loved the bed and all the pillows.

it was the worst booking of my life. I came at 10 in the evening, I contacted the owner to enter, when, lo and behold, the room I had reserved was already occupied by other customers, the owner started arguing with those customers, I had to wait for more than an hour and a half until those customers left and he prepared my room for me. I never thought that something like this could happen.

it was super cold outside that day, when i walked into the room, the window was open, and the heater wasn’t working all night.

Stayed here to access Coney Island hospital where my daughter was to have had an operation. Only a fifteen-minute walk. Owner met me at the door and handed me a set of keys and introduced me to the room. Room was very comfortable, with a table and chair for my computer. Owner very accommodating. The TV accounts for YouTube, and other channels was programmed for Spanish, which is the native language of the host. I expect that could be changed if I asked, but I don't normally watch TV anyway, so it wasn't an issue. Had the use of a kitchen which was helpful.
