A great base for exploring North Norfolk. Very clean , tidy and comfortable and if you’re travelling with a dog it has a nice sized secure back garden. Had a lovely relaxing stay would love to go back.
Also the local pub just over the road had great food and the staff were really friendly.
As the name suggests it on a corner of a road junction which can be at times a little noisy.

Great location with a well equipped kitchen.
I was happy with my bed as was the person in the bed double bed by itself.
Comfortable sofas and good tv.
The communication was excellent.
One of the beds creaked and the knives could have been sharper.
The gate to the garden was difficult to open.

Owner very quick to reply when we messaged
Very busy road to cross to get back to car parked in village car park. Some mornings took a good 10 mins to cross road
Garden could do with a tidy up - brambles and stinging nettles growing in places so hard for little one to go out
House just seemed a little tired in places - e.g wallpaper peeling off chimney breast

Property is located a short drive from Holt and Sheringham, ideal for us as we were exploring the North Norfolk railway. The property itself was very clean and in good condition for its age. We use it was a base for exploration and didn’t spend that much time inside.
So we were warned about the steep stairs before we arrived, which weren’t an issue. I didn’t like the lack of parking, the small carpark across the road was full when we arrived. Also walking into the main bedroom from the main bathroom I kept hitting my head on the protruding box above the door way.
Two plates were cracked down the middle, which weren’t like that when we arrived, we have set them aside on the counter
