We loved the location and communication with the host was top notch. Check in was fairly easy with door codes. We rented out both the larger flat with two bedrooms and the smaller flat with 1 bedroom. Both were furnished and utensils for cooking. Both flats are on the same floor in the same building which is located very close to the Church and 5min walk from the chateau. Its close to restaurants, small supermarkets and boulangeries and it is in the most beautiful area of Domfront. I don't think you could get a better location, Both flats were very clean with towels and bedding provided. They were spacious and had good communal areas to relax in. Nice comfortable beds and sofa bed. Parking is close by, and it had lots of spaces when we were there in October (which is off season)

We only received the check in details for the larger flat, so I had to call the host to get the details for the smaller flat. A small error, but he responded immediately so this wasn't a problem. The smaller flat did smell of cigarettes unfortunately, most likely due to the previous people that stayed. The shower in the smaller flat was only luke warm, it was a bit cold, but usable. The larger flat what looked like some half finished wooden railings around the kitchen with an upside down plant pot nailed to them. A bit bizarre, but the main issue is they felt a bit loose and that they would break at some point in the future, The only other downside is the number of narrow stairs to get to both flats. Although its on the 2nd floor, the floor heights are quite high, so it is a lot of steps. So definitely not good if you have elderly family members or small children. Also a feature of the town is the church bell that goes off at 7am and then every 15 minutes! Both flats are very close to the church, so if you are a light sleeper, don't expect a lie in!
