We reported some very minor issues to the owner, and he responded immediately, offering to fix them that day. They were minor, so we asked them to wait until we left. 2 days after the trip, we were notified that all concerns were addressed. No place is perfect, but the owner went above and beyond to make the place as perfect as possible. It was also the best stocked location we've ever rented. Great location, close to the beach and the Big Store. We will definitely be booking this place again in the future.

Overall good stay. Had a few blips along the way that kept me from saying it was great. Location was great to the beach. Property manager was super helpful and extremely responsive. Property needed some updates and bathrooms were small for several people sharing.

We spent the weekend with our teenagers and their friends and had an amazing time! The beds were comfortable, the amenities were amazing, and Shaun was very helpful and responded immediately to any messages that I sent. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a friends vacation in this home with our kids over Labor Day weekend and the house was exactly what we needed. The mattresses were very comfortable, the kitchen is exceptionally stocked for cooking, plenty of beach towels and bath linens and very clean inside. The outdoor patio was nice outside of the mosquitos, but that’s nothing against the host.. that’s just Crystal Beach in general. I would recommend guests bringing citronella candles and bug spray to help with that. Overall our entire group had a wonderful stay here and would definitely stay again.

We had a party of 10 and was comfortable. Well stocked withe cooking items. The amenities are terrific and the downstairs to grill and hang out was perfect. Shaun was in contact when the power went down for several hours and checked in again when it came back on. Great price for the rental, great access to the beach, all around 100% what we needed. We are avid VRBO renters and this one is the best by far. Also, super cool free ferry ride from the island to Galveston and back. Wait times can be a little long, but once you drive on, get out and see the dolphins and feed the birds from the back of the boat, so worth the wait.

If you think the pictures are nice, it’s even better in person! The property comes equipped with everything you may need(lots of towels, pillows, throw blankets, beach toys, everything for the kitchen, and many more). Everything about it is great! A very short walk to the beach. You can also drive your car right in front of the beach. Our family had a great time! Great location! Would recommend!

Family friendly setup. Open concept and vaulted ceilings helped so we didn’t feel cramped. Check in/out process was clearly shared with us in a timely manner so we could prep for our arrival and departure. Would recommend!

This was our favorite beach house we’ve rented! We had plenty of space for our 4 adults and 3 kids. The kids slept upstairs in the loft and it was great for them to have their own space. All of the beds in the house were so comfortable. The AC and ceiling fans worked great. The kids were active in the loft and utilized the box fans that were provided. The towels, pillows, and blankets were well stocked. We appreciated the extra beach towels and beach toys in the tiki bar area. The couch in the living room was comfy and great for afternoon naps or late night laughing. We loved the layout! It was nice to be able to cook dinner and still be part of the living room conversation. The arcade game was a huge hit with the kids and grownups both! So many thoughtful touches in the house. The owner, Shaun, was great and provided terrific communication. We had such a great time and made so many memories and look forward to staying here again!

The house was great and literally everything you would need was provided including beach towels, toys, chairs, yard games, small kids arcade, tv in every room, extra towels, tv outside at the bar, LARGE couch with an extra pullout bed and recliners, plenty of seating for dinners, the open floor plan is great for families or gathering, the deck is large and you can view some of the water/beach, all cooking utensils included, blender, and much more! Oh and extremely clean and tidy!!!! Cute decor! The owners are very attentive and communicate very well. Oh and the beds were VERY comfortable with extra pillows to boot! The location is amazing! This was our best beach experience yet and our first time visiting Texas. You can drive your car right onto the beach with a sticker and there are golf cart rentals nearby! We have a lot of kids and I’d say they had a blast! Be sure to cross the free ferry over to Galveston beach. There is a pier with an amusement park on it. Our favorite experience was The Rainforest Cafe-so worth the wait and money! You can put in your reservation and then go ride on their river ride while you wait! The food & service was amazing and music outside when we were done was awesome! We will definitely be visiting this area again and renting from this couple again if possible! Sarah Ward 😄
