We had a great weekend in Luray with the little red barn as our jumping off point. We were minutes away from everything in town. The caverns were so great as were the garden maze and ropes course. We loved grabbing food downtown at Broad Porch, Gathering Grounds (closed Sundays, so go on Sat), the outdoor beer garden, Hawksbill Brewery (Mexican food truck on prem), and more! It was lovely to come back to the barn for the late evenings. We roasted marshmallows by the solo stove, did some start gazing and even were able to walk to Flotzies for a soft serve treat Friday night. The house was clean and quaint and perfect for our weekend as a fam of 3 plus our dog. Definitely recommend!

We stayed for the weekend. My Wife Son, my mother and our dog. The barn is cozy and looks amazing Clark and Gloria thank you! for renting us the barn. The Luray caverns were in a walking distance but we drove over and there’s parking at Luray and parking at the Barn that is private. There’s a Walmart not far away. The barn is near from the restaurants strip. The fact that everything is near by, but the location of the barn is retired and peaceful away from everything. There’s also a road near by that connects areas but is not annoying gets super lonely especially at nights. The Barn was loaded with all the needs, in Kitchen, bath and living room. At nights by the fire and great time at the grill, there were two gas tanks full. My Dog had a big land to play. I travel constantly and from my experience I can tell you is a great place to stay for the weekend or more. I hope you get to experience it too.

We enjoyed our stay at the Little Red Barn so much! The hosts were in communication the whole time, they had the internet fixed in a day when the satellite needed replaced & went above & beyond! Great location to the valley & close to the park!

The place was very nice and cozy. The location is great if you’re going to Luray Caverns or Cooter’s.

We loved our stay at the Little Red Barn. It's so nice and even cuter in person! The hosts were so nice and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We definitely want to visit again. We also liked how close it was so everything in Luray, it was a perfect little vacation. :)

Cute red barn that is perfect for a long weekend! Our family of 3 loved roasting marshmallows by the fire and cooking our dinner on the grill. Conveniently located to downtown eateries, wineries and the caverns. Very accessible to DC yet feels like you are a world away!

This is the cutest property and bigger than we expected. We had the best stay and could’ve easily stayed longer. Kitchen is well stocked and easy to use; we stayed over Thanksgiving and were able to cook a full dinner in the kitchen without issue. Everything was great quality and even nicer than the pics showed. Clark and Gloria were also super responsive and quick to get a hold of, which was helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Would definitely stay again!

This place was more than we expected! Nice and quiet and very relaxing. The owners made sure we had everything we needed before we got there and were easily accessible if we had any questions.

My husband and I brought our dog and had a lovely time in the barn! It was very convenient to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. The fire pit in the back was very nice after dark. Barn was slightly less rural than we thought it might be, but was also convenient to stores like Walmart and food lion. Only thing to note is that the only bedroom is upstairs and only bathroom is downstairs which may make bathroom trips during the night a little precarious. Would stay again!

The little red barn was such an amazing hidden little gem. Located in the caverns back yard my wife, dog and I loved everything about the place. Close to anything you need. Strongly recommend staying here. Already concidering returning when the winter hits .

Most adorable VRBO ever! Loved the little barn theme! The decor was awesome! Clean and bright and roomy! Everything you need away from home to feel like home! We enjoyed a fire on the patio! So close to everything we wanted to do! Checked out the Luray Caverns within walking distance from the barn. Spent a lot of time hiking in Shenandoah NP. Travel time was great back to the barn. We brought our pup and he had plenty of room to stretch out and relax after hiking and he had his own back yard to play in during our stay! Wonderful stay all around!! The owners are fabulous! They were so accommodating and hospitable! We are most excited to come back and stay again and do the things we missed! So much to do and see in this area! And the views are in the top 10!!

Everything we experienced during our stay was flawless. The house was spotless, comfortable, close to everything, gorgeous views, and had everything you need for a nice stay. I will be coming back just to stay at the same place!

The little red barn was a wonderful stay for myself and my family. For a smaller place, it felt spacious, yet homey and comfortable. The thoughtful decor and amenities created an atmosphere of coziness that balanced country-home and modern aesthetics. The location was perfect for our trip as well; Very close to the Luray Caverns area and sits a short distance between essentials, like groceries, and the activities and restaurants of downtown Luray, while still being removed just enough to feel off the beaten path. The little red barn was just what we needed.

My husband and I spent the weekend here with our five-year-old daughter. The house is impeccably clean and well stocked with anything you might need. We watched movies on the pull out couch, played board games, and enjoyed cooking breakfast together. We were very comfortable during our stay. The owners are polite and responded quickly when we reached out with a question. The Luray Caverns are SUPER close to the property and that was the highlight of our trip. We also went rafting nearby, visited a zoo, and explored some small towns. I would recommend staying here for sure.

This “Little Red Barn” is ideally located in Luray, is such a wonderful place and the hosts Gloria and Clark are great at communicating about the rental and make you feel Welcome. I enjoyed it so much that I came back on my way Southward from the Finger lakes in NY. Some of my hikes were rained out my first visit, so I decided to come back to the same area. I really enjoyed watching the sunset behind the mountains from the patio with a glass of wine and my dog. We were even visited by a momma duck and 7-8 little ducklings on their way across the fields. This place is comfortable and relaxing. I’d highly recommend it.

This little red barn is newly remodeled and updated with a modern farmhouse style. I was traveling solo with my dog, so I didn't want to be too remote for the week. I was surprised that the little red barn is more spacious than what the pictures show (except the bathroom's a bit tight). The living are and bedroom are larger than I thought they would be. The high speed internet was great for the 2 Zoom meetings I had for work while I was there. The video never froze during the 2 hr. meetings - which is sometimes hard to find at rental places. It is the perfect size for a couple's getaway. Its very close to Luray caverns (about 1 mi) as well as groceries (0.1 mi). Downtown Luray is a 5 minute drive. Skyline drive is also very close (20 mins). Wisteria wineries is about 10-15 minutes away and is lovely. The yard is large and my dog loved running around the yard and watching the deer cross the hay field every evening. The hosts were very nice, were quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful answering questions and giving advice on places to visit locally. They also provide all the basics you need for the stay, which was extremely helpful after my long drive and it was raining when I arrived. It was nice to not have to run out immediately to a store. A Kurig that can do a pot or single cup of coffee was wonderful. It was hot out, so I didn't use it, but there is a small firepit on the patio that overlooks a mountain and field view- which will be great in the Fall! There's also a nice grill. This is a great property for a short or longer stay where you want to be near amenities. I will definitely stay here again! What a great little gem!

First off, Clark and Gloria were fantastic hosts from before check in to after check out. Super friendly, accessible and responsive. Their “Little Red Barn” is newly remodeled in rustic farmhouse, was super clean and an overall wonderful place to spend two nights with my dog. The place is 10 min from downtown Luray and right down the street from a Super market and a number of restaurants. I planned this last minute trip to fish the Shenandoah and there are actually 2 ponds right across the street filled with largemouth and bluegill so that was a huge bonus. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the hosts. I can’t wait to stay there again soon. Highly recommend as this was one of, if not the best places I’ve ever stayed!
