Right in the heart of downtown Revelstoke, we loved that the Downunder Mountain Retreat is in walking distance of everything from grocery stores to restaurants to the visitor center. The condo is spacious and comfortable with almost everything one might need for their stay. The elevator was a welcome surprise as one member of our party recently had knee surgery. The secure parking spot was a nice surprise, although it didn't seem like a place a lot of crime happens. We were surprised to see people leaving bikes unlocked on the street, outside of the trains in town it is a ghost town late at night. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of table and couch/chair space to gather at night to talk, watch tv or play board games. There is a bookstore downstairs. It was nice having laundry machines within the suite so you don't have to pack as much stuff.

Overall we really didn't have anything negative to say about the place, just two small things to note. The first night we had a hard time cooling the place down as there is just one AC unit in the living room, it was an unseasonably hot and smoky day and we arrived around 4pm though so not anyones fault. If we did it again we would get the fans blowing upon checkin, not right at bed time. After the first day with the fans provided we kept it very comfortable. Not a problem for us as we don't have kids, but there were no screens in the bedroom windows which could be something to note for little ones left to their own devices.

Location was very good.

There is air conditioning in the condo but it was hidden behind the couch with no indication of where to find it so we were very hot and uncomfortable for the duration of our stay. There was a notice on the wall that there was air conditioning in the main living room but no mention of how to turn it on. This should be included so that guests don't have look to for it. Also, just a note for the company that I sent an emil regarding an early check-in and never received a response.

fabulous location - most things were walkable. quiet area overnight. lovely condo with 2 beds/2baths and everything we needed. really comfortable king bed, 2 tvs and lots of seating. interesting art on the walls, comfortable beds.

floors were filthy (hardwood in main areas and tile in bathrooms), ensuite sliding door was missing screws in the upper track so it wouldn't close, bathtubs were VERY slippery and there were no rubber mats. 1 towel each? not enough. it's a small thing, but furniture placement didn't allow for very good airflow from the air conditioner.

Great location, property was well kept and clean.

Great location. The condo was easy to use , was fully stocked with everything. Great labeling , easy to use directions.

Parking was the only problem. It was tight for a medium sized suv. or someone always parked in front of the doors. But there was a always plenty of spots on the streets.

Instructions for parking and access to building was clear. The condo itself was beautiful. Nicely decorated and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back.

The only small critique would be that the master bedroom was a little bit to warm at night. The rest of the condo had A/C going but the bedroom just had a fan.
