The location is unbeatable, in the center of the old town, right next door to the lovely Serbian Orthodox Church, with restaurants and shops a few steps away. It was easy to pick up food to eat in and easy to find good places to eat out. The apartment had both a working air conditioner and big windows that could be thrown open. There were plenty of electrical outlets. It was especially nice to have a washing machine and dryer on the ground floor, for residents’ use gratis. The staff helped us in a big way, carrying our very heavy bags up two flights of stairs. The staff was also quite communicative and answered several questions in response to messages we sent on Booking.

The room felt a bit spartan and barebones, somehow. The stairs were a problem for us; we had asked for a room on the ground floor when we reserved but there were no guarantees and we ended up on the second. The staff carried our bags up for us but no staff was on duty when we left and it took me 10 minutes of laborious effort to get two 45-pound suitcases from the second floor to the ground floor. Thankfully there was a handrail or I am not sure how I would have made it.

Great central location, clean room, easy self checkin and access to code for front door so you can store luggage if arriving early. Hotel has parking offsite and it is easy to get an uber from there to the Pile Gate and then short walk to hotel. Also has washing machine and dryer onsite. Would definitely stay again.

The property was centrally located. It was a short 3 minute walk from the Pile gate. Although we had an apartment at street level, it was very quiet. The apartment was clean and well appointed.
