Live music till 12 no Wi-Fi and no heating

The location was right above a busy pub playing live music till 1.00am and we got no sleep My adult son was meant to participate in the Sunderland triathlon on the Sunday night and got absolutely no sleep and did not complete. Descriptor made no mention of the fact the apartment is directly above a very busy and loud pub.

Location- House door was numbered 33 yet we had been informed 34 and spent time searching for a different building We didn't think it could be 33 due to wrong number and it being over a pub. Communication with Alexander Apartments is shocking. we were left standing around waiting on codes to get in

Do not stay here. Read trust pilot reviews. Absolute scammers. They take your money and £200 deposit and block you. Apartment did not exist. Another couple who turned up got told it was damaged, we got told double booked. Staff block your number. Appalling booking.com allow them on their site. Disgusting

the property was dirty from first glance.. we noticed the mould on the windows and rubbish all over the garden.. ( pictures were taken) we never ended up staying as i have asthma and looking at the mould would have had a serious affect on my breathing for several weeks. we asked for a refund but never heard back from the agent or booking.com. absolutely disgusting service will not be using booking.com ever again as no help was offered to resolve my situation. we had to driver back to leeds that evening

The location for me was perfect for the office.

The apartment is dated- stains on walls etc could easily be fixed within a couple of days. Just a repaint up. It wasn’t until an hour of me arriving that I received the codes and despite me repeatedly trying to contact them to advise I had left my work phone at home so please use a different number- this was ignored.

The property provided great value for money although the surroundings and entrance were not very salubrious. We thought initially we had gone to the wrong place. However the hosts were swift to deal with all my enquiries and we didn't have any issues. It was a large flat and there were plenty of beds. We could have slept a much larger family for a very fair price. It was close to the port so we could see our cruise ship dock and were able to get to the terminal/ carpark in 15 mins (on the other side of the river). Would use again.

Ended up having to book another accommodation for first night as the key code was not provided by the management company, until two hours after our business had shut for the day, even though we had requested that it be text to the employees mobile, which it wasn't, so out of pocket and no offer of one nights refund was given, even though requested, as no fault of ours that we could not gain entry. The management team let this property down, so would never book again on the same day of travel.
