Loved the basket breakfast and the view from the balcony! Kitchen was also very well equipped

Room smelt a little musty when we first arrived, although I am sure that is common for such a wet climate

Management was nice and helpful and answered all requests immediately. Breakfast was good and came in a basket to the door.

I am talking about the apartment "Casa de Moleiro". There were others which I have not seen. This apartment however has a severe mold problem in the downstairs kitchen, both bathrooms and the upper bedroom. This apartment has almost no windows that can be opened for natural air circulation. Instead, there is AC and the kitchen has an air de-humidifier running all the time. Downstairs bathroom also leaks through the ceiling light, which is flickering. There was a bucket to collect the dripping water. Upstairs bathroom has no window that can be opened, only two small fans that run when the lights are on. This results in a foul odor in this bathroom. Overall, time has not been gentle to this apartment. I do not recommend.

The space is big enough for a family. You can see the ocean from the window but...

I've booked this place because I thought I'm booking the windmill (from the photos). Turned out it was a trap, instead, I got an old barn building with cracks on the walls, insects in the bathroom, and dirty conditioners. When you realize your mistake it's already too late - the price is non-refundable, and you can't make any changes. Wifi was not working in the bedroom and was unstable in the living room. Breakfast is cold and is served in your room (a stranger opens your door in the morning). The terrace has no cover so it's wet during and after the rain. No pets in the garden but an excavator and some vehicles are driving up and down. A neighbor's rooster wakes you up at 6 am and keeps yelling every 15 sec. It was the worst experience on the island (the 4th place to stay). Think twice before choosing it for a couple of Instagram pics.

great location with everything available. We traveled with a small baby and they even organized a baby bathtub and shampoo. breakfast was served each morning.

We stayed at the renovated miller's house -a unique ancient house but modern inside. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped accommodation. We liked dining outside viewing the beautiful garden. Very close to Sau Miguel west part attractions like cete cidades. Nice view.

This is a fun place to stay at, the 360 view is priceless. The breakfast was very generous, someone brings it every morning around 8am. It's also a good location to visit many of the places in the Azores.

The only thing I would say is that if you don't have good mobility, it could get tiresome to walk up and down the stairs from the kitchen to the bathroom and the bedroom.

The view was phenomenal. The communication with the owners was very quick and helpful. Breakfast was such a wonderful treat, the size surprised us all. This is where you ll want to end your day after a day filled with hikes and beautiful sights.

We had a couple of windy nights (really windy) which kept us up at night but hey, that's what you get for a front row seat looking out on the ocean.
