It was very well furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped. Nothing was left to chance. There was an awful lot of thought put into everything. The sofas were comfy. The beds and pillows were comfy. The shower was fabulous and the whole property was exceptionally clean. Wendy was also a lovely lady and very helpful. I will definitely be staying again and we picked up cards to give to family and friends. Thank you Wendy for making our first visit to Rutland a comfortable and happy one. X

Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, perfect for a few nights stay. Great location, a minutes walk from shops and cafe/restaurants. I couldn’t recommend this fab little place enough. The only negative is that we wished we’d booked longer!

If I had to comment on anything at all, I would stay the main bedroom bed maybe need a refresh. It was very creaky, I think we woke each other up a couple of times turning over. But this is being very picky, and I would not want it to take away from our wonderful stay in this lovely apartment.

Location was perfect. Flat was bright and easy to relax in. Facilities good all good.

Felt uncomfortable not having coasters to put cups on. Used kitchen towel - didn’t want to mark surfaces. A shelf in the shower would be helpful. Shelf above the basin in bathroom slopes so you can’t really use it. Might be useful to have a knife block or a magnetic strip above the toaster area? But these are little things.

Very clean and well presented. Felt like a little hideaway and surprisingly private for the location. When I contacted the owner with a query she responded very quickly.

Loved the property but found reversing out of the car park space a little awkward as driving a new car. But great to have a dedicated parking space.

Great accomodation, everything we needed, clean, good communication. Great location for Rutland water.

Loved the central location and so close to the school which was the centre of all our activities over the 4 days. Great for shopping and eating out too. Only a short drive from Rutland Water too so if we visit again we will bring our bikes!!

Didn’t really like the shutters in the house. Unless you closed them in a certain way (and even then it wasn’t great) they let in too much light- fine in the winter but we visited in July and were getting woken up at 4.30am! curtains and/or Roman blinds with blackout would have been better - especially in the bedrooms. I also felt the double bed was a bit small for us - my husband is quite tall and his feet were hanging over the edge!

The bed was very comfy the shower very good constant hot water. Had everything we needed. Very private and had own decking area and private parking was very central to town.

Superb apartment in an excellent location. Beautifully furnished and a very comfortable bed. Warm and welcoming host. Oakham a really nice town with lots to do and many good restaurants and bars. Awful weather but it didn’t spoil our stay.

The apartment is perfectly located for local amenities and a short drive from Rutland water. It is spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely stay.
