The bed was clean and comfortable. The rest of the room needs some serious updates. For the price and location its an ok stay.

The dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Black mold in the bathroom. Random stains. Bathroom was gross. Bed was old and uncomfortable.

This hotel is apparently in an area the homeless frequently pass through. There were two cars parked at the hotel which appeared to have people living in them. One (obviously) homeless person was wandering around between the hotel and a nearby store and the next thing we noticed he was inside the hotel hallway going who-knows-where! Also, the toilet is one of the shortest (lowest to the ground) we've ever seen. We were also unable to get the heat turned on in our room even with the front desk person working at it. Aside from all that, the room and beds were quite comfortable.

Quiet evening. I was on first floor; that helped a lot. They were next to Denny's - easy walk. They had a free breakfast. The bed was softer than mine; I use plywood with foam pad on top - it's firm. I recommend La Grande Inn.

First of all we came to check in at 4 PM and the room was not ready. We left and went to dinner came back at 9:30 PM. The host was very friendly and made us keys for our room # 128. I open the door to the room and saw that both beds were slept in and a key laying on the refrigerator. I quickly shut the door and went back to the front desk. The lady again made me another key to room 133. Same thing again the room was not cleaned. She then made keys for number 118. She went and checked it herself this time and told us that the room was ready we brought in our bags, and as we looked around There was a dirty sock on the floor at the end of the bed, The room was not clean. My husband took the dirty sock back to the front desk, and the gal told us that we would be discounted for our room. To our knowledge that still has not happened. I now regret not taking a photograph of someone’s dirty laundry left on the hotel floor for us to pick up. Gross!

The front desk was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. There are some updates to the rooms like new flooring and new bedspreads. There is no microwave in the room yet there's a place in the armoire for one. I recommend putting microwaves in all rooms. Also, the wall mounted hair dryer was broker, but the front desk promptly brought a replacement. The breakfast was continental - no hot food. We walked across the parking lot to Denny's and ate grand slam breakfasts for $7.99. (You have to ask for a special menu to see this pricing.)

It was not good!

The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The property needs updating. Tired worn furniture in the rooms. Old--dirty looking carpet. Bathroom had mildew in the corners of the tub and on the ceiling. Great areas to walk your dog and easy on and off access to freeway and gas stations.
