All of the staff was very friendly. The pool area was very relaxing and clean. Shuckers had good food and drink but was a bit pricey, even for the area.

Hotel is fine but nothing fancy. The waterfront location is nice but access is limited to a small boardwalk the span of the hotel width. Hotel room itself sort shabby, but clean enough and comfortable beds. Given the price I would expect more but if you get a good deal and the location is convenient, serves the need well enough.

All good except the front desk didn’t offer or ask about parking a vehicle. Signage was at the other end of the counter. Didn’t see it. Car was towed.

We were very happy with the location, staff, pool and restaurant/bar right there. The bed and pillows were comfortable but the room is rundown and could use new carpet etc. Bathroom was disappointing, very small, but got the job done. Staff was happy to make up the room and provide clean essentials daily, which was nice. When you walk into the lobby it smells like vacation to me and it was nice seeing the boats and yachts passing by.

Cheap motel vibes with high end prices. Lots of outside noise, dark outdated room. WiFi didn’t work. Shower pressure was poor.

We are very glad we only stayed one night here on our trip.
There is no continental breakfast.
The hotel has not been uodated at all in at least the last 20 years.
The lock on the door was questionable at best.
Tiny bathroom.
Asked for a blanket and sheets for the pull out couch and was told they didnt know where they were so they couldnt get us one. They did finally find sheets, but never did find a blanket.

Always a pleasure staying here, John at the front desk is the best. I come to Miami 4 or 5 times per year and I always stay here, great hotel and great bar outside

The air conditioning in the room was not working properly.
It was always extremely cold, at the point that it was pretty uncomfortable to work in it.
Since there is not electricity in the balcony, had to find a different way to be able to work.

Entrance for the part of the hotel I was staying in was around the corner, past a dumpster, through a parking lot, through a door to a restaurant and to the left. Had no idea where I was going. The Restaurant on site had good food but was a sports bar and there was a lot of noise. The view from the room was great. Took a shower and so much filth and hair came off my feet from the carpet I was shocked. I only took my socks off when I went to bed and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. The weather was miserable so no pool fun for us, obviously no fault of the hotel. Only place to eat within walking distance was the on site restaurant and a Benihana across the street. There is a mall where my family went but the wind was almost hurricane strength I had to return. The buffet on site was very good.

Despite some efforts to refresh the rooms, this property is in poor condition. Bathroom door could not be opened after closing because door latch was stuck. Beds were comfortable with decent linens and blankets. Nearby road noise was loud enough to be heard over the air conditioner.

The view was amazing. But it was not safe for me as a mom to leave my teenage daughter by herself. Not the most safest place. We checked out the next day. Still waiting for our refund. Its been 4 days and we were told 4 to 5 days for refund.

Hotel photos are glammed up. Reality is this is an old hotel that has undergone some renovation to make it more appealing to hide its age. Room furniture has been updated at some point, as too the bathrooms. Door feels like it would be easy to breach. But I had no issues during my brief stay. Location is good if you want to be on the water and over close to South Beach side. Only one ice machine I could find working. Parking was ok. Breakfast was not included. Restaurant has great views.

The only place that looked comfortable to sit and lounge in was the lobby. Took a shower by the time i was Finished i had a half a tub of water due to my drain being clogged 2 of us had to take a shower FYI, the ceiling was leaking all day you could not use the bathroom without water dripping on you from the ceiling (my towel had a hole in it ) i went To the front desk he said he is all booked for the weekend and gave me free breakfast buffet French toast,pancakes hard as a rock sausage dry juice syrupy didn’t use the coupon i ended up a 20% discount on my total bill. Everything is perfect. Just check out procedure should be smooth. Check in time answer pleasantly to guests as we dont knw what is required and how.

We had a worm crawling around on our floor and my Mother-in-Law had ants in her room. I room was also HOT. The sheets were also hard to me.

All in all it was OK.
I would definitely not call it a hotel but rather a motel.
I am sure with a little investment in the furnishings it would be a great place to stay for a longer period of time.
So it is more of a purpose just to stay overnight to explore Miami.
The interior is definitely getting on in years, but that is secondary.
More important is the cleanliness, which is well ... so la la.
The staff was very friendly.
The food in the restaurant next door was also good and affordable.
All in all, I would give a 5 out of 10 points.
