The property was very nice, the room needed updates, there were broken and loose floor tiles and the floors were filthy. They ask you to remove your shoes but the floors were so dirty walking in socks or bare foot meant having black feet/socks. The resort was good about addressing other concerns we had but because it’s an owner situation there wasn’t much they could do. But I ended up having to clean the floors myself it was so bad, not something I wanted to do on vacation. Plus we had portable air conditioners which none of them worked so we just ended up opening as many windows as we could and keeping the fans provided going. But it was good that we couldn’t use one air conditioner as it was installed to vent out on the lanai, which would have made using that a not pleasant experience. We did have a good view, partial ocean, mountain and garden. Was an easy walk to the beach which was beautiful, lots of close by shopping and restaurants. Had a full kitchen so that was great and access to grills and picnic, only could have used better kitchen utensils for cooking and preparing meals (better knives, cutting boards, mixing bowls, etc) but we made due and had a good time.

We've stayed here three times now, and each time a winner. Gorgeous grounds, right across from the ocean, a short drive to everything. The pool is wonderful, warm and clean. The condos have everything you need for cooking there, or just plating your DoorDash. We will be returning next year!

This condo was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Well equipped, comfortable bed and nice patio. Right across the street from a beautiful beach where you can snorkel and go watch the sunset.

Our stay was excellent the only issue we had for the first 2 days was, the air conditioning was not working. It took two days for maintenance to come by to fix the issue

It was beautiful and it had everything you needed to cook and for drinks.

The biggest issue was the fire up the hill. We checked in Aug 7. There were three large fires on the island and a hurricane passing by. We did not get any information from the management team as to what we should do or where we should evacuate to. No signage no nothing. We ended getting an SMS evacuation at midnight and sleep through it. We will never stay at a condo again as the hotel chains do a better job at communicating. In an emergency crisis, they did nothing for us. I spoke to our friends who stayed at Maui Bayan. They had resort fees and cleaning fees waived. Frustrating, scared and confused. We felt no help from the condo team.

The unit we rented looked like it had been badly water damaged and only partially repaired. Very little furniture, kitchen cabinets looked dirty, pedestal sink in bedroom and no counter, no plCe to unpack suitcase and . Just not up to par. We have stayed in other units that were lovely. This unit was not. Bldg 5-308.

Great place to stay. Nice unit. Comfortable and clean. Short walk from beach. Gorgeous setting. Close to dining options and a short drive from our favorite beaches.

We had ants crawling in our bathroom & bedroom in both condos in our party. We had to take them in the bed to move our stuff out of one condo to another one. We do not recommend building 5 because of ants.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful and they had everything you would need available to use. We used the pool daily and we didn't know it but on Wednesdays they have live music and hula dancers. The staff was friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location right across the street from the beach. The unit we stayed in was clean and quiet. My only negative is that the loft area is pretty warm because the window unit downstairs doesn’t cool off the whole space. But all and all every thing was good. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again.

Gorgeous ocean view. Beach is across the street. Make sure you request ocean view. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean property.

Landscaping was beautiful and enjoyable. Bbq grills outside were all well maintained and cleaned daily. Great central location to visit all areas of the island. Front desk was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Gym/ pool and hot tubs were all well maintained.

Great property, wonderfully appointed grounds and landscaping, and a perfect beachside location. Unfortunately the units are privately owned so there can be inconsistencies between accommodations depending on how well each unit is maintained. It’s too bad that a preview of the specific condo you will be staying in isn’t provided, however all in all it was a great place to stay. Also, the staff were simply amazing!

Great place to stay with kids. We were surprised about all the items the condo was stocked with - on top of what we expected there were beach toys, snorkeling supplies, beach chairs and a really well stocked kitchen. The buildings are older but really well maintained overall with very friendly staff. Lots to do for the kids and the beach on the other side of the road is perfect - ended up being our favorite beach there for swimming, playing and snorkeling.

The property was okay, but the room was outdated and had a bug problem. The door locks didnt work properly and the blankets were itchy and old.

We saw insects crawling as soon as we arrived. We had to step out and reported it after 2 days. Inappropriate questions as to why do you ask after 2 days instead of taking action and accepting the situation. Vacuum cleaner inside the condo was very dirty. The toilet was leaking water and making loud noises. Ac was terrible and making loud noises

The property was located in a great place- walkable distances to all dining and shopping spaces
Staff was [mostly] good. We did encounter a terrible manager who was NOT AT ALL accommodating (we had a 10 hour wait period after check out to our flight; when we arrived, we spoke with the staff about leaving our bags so our daughters (aged 7 & 9) did not have to carry their luggage around Maui- she informed us that was completely fine. However, our last day, the manager, refused to accommodate this request and offer a single solution AN HOUR AWAY).
We were not impressed with him; be wary. This hotel was not as accommodating when you have kids

Perfect location in Kihei. The property is family friendly, very well kept and the pools and hot tub were great. The condo was a little dated but had everything we needed and was really nice. We loved our stay

Just ok. They had ant or insects of some kind and not that clean and very outdated but we were just here for two nights. The location is amazing and Maui is amazing. One of the office managers was grumpy and the other was sweet

Great apartment. Fabulous grounds. Lovely view. Super quiet and right across from the beach park (across the road). Lots of places to eat, get coffee or grocery shop nearby. Would definitely stay here again!!!
