The owner of the hotel needs to update their website, there is no breakfast at all. When you walk into the corridor you can smell the smoke. When you walk in the bathroom you can feel the bathroom floor sticking to your soles of your shoes. I am so confused about this. It is bathroom and not a kitchen. On the other hand, the price is there, What else can you ask for? You will get what you pay for.

Asked for room service a week straight, they came on the last day of my trip…. One worker even told me they can hand me my sheets and I can make my own room

Dirty. Hair in the tub. Floors dirty. Property in disrepair. Other clients looked scary. Staff was not at all helpful or friendly. Would never stay here again. Nights sleep? Banging doors. People arguing, yelling. Loud TV’s. Stay away.

It was ok for a one night or 2 Night stay. But not any longer.. There was nothing around except the LIquor store across the street.

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. When we got to the room, it was evident that the staff did not properly clean it. The comforter was stained with what LOOKED like blood, and the were dirty towels hanging. Our room was stocked with nothing but a half used roll of toilet paper, and I had to listed to the staff argue with another guest for 30 minutes before finally giving us another roll. I’m INCREDIBLY dissatisfied and disappointed with my stay. They also had no breakfast options, and had very loud parties goin on both nights.

Exterior of property needs LOTS of attention. Lobby was very clean and comfortable. Property has bar onsite, was not open due to low staffing. Staff very professional and friendly. Check in was quick. Hallways needed vacuuming. Furniture in rooms dirty. Hole in bathroom door. We decided not to stay, staff was friendly and ensured us a refund. Hotel is very short staffed at this time, would try again in the future once they are fully staffed and they are able to maintain the property adequately.

all good very nice staff, clean room no bugs etc... only issue was couples fight but that can happen anywhere. yes would stay agian i was here for week from florida

Generally was very satisfied. I honestly didn't expect it to be as nice as it was. My only complaints are: 1. Bedroom carpet was quite dirty 2. I was a little put off by the night clerk with her barefoot feet up on the counter, as relaxed as could be

Upon arriving, the front desk person was sitting by the door 3 feet away from the "No Smoking Sign"- you guessed it, smoking. We went into the lobby to check in, the woman behind the desk said that the front desk person would be with us shortly- we had to wait until she finished her smoke break before we could check in. Because we paid online, we were required to leave a $100 CASH deposit with the front desk- which we got back only after they checked our room- so if you are in a hurry to check out- build in that extra time. Even though I offered a card for deposit and the sign behind the desk said a debit or credit card would be required, CASH was the only option. The room was ok, the AC fan had three settings but all of them seemed to blow on high. The bed was about 12 inches from the wall on the one side and the AC unit took up most of that space so it was a tight squeeze to get into the bed on that side (the room was big enough to move the bed over). The bath tub had hair in it from previous visitors, bedding was stained and the furniture had seen better days. The room was humid and seemed damp and musty- almost like the carpet had been cleaned but not allowed to dry.

The room was clean, smelled liked disinfectant, A/C was set to read in Celsius which was confusing. The staff were helpful but were not professionally dressed and lounged back in their chairs like they were taking a nap. The outside grounds were not well maintained and had a general rundown feel to the place. I made the mistake thinking the name "Water's Edge" meant Lake Michigan not a small stream behind the hotel. It was convenient to eating places.

I booked and paid for 2 rooms. When we got there they said they only had 1 room left. We needed a room so we said ok. The room they tried to put us in already had people in it. The person at the counter was not helpful at all. All I could do was cancel my booking and wait 15 days for my refund.

The room appeared neat but the smell and odor was gross. I walked in and walked back out. A place cannot be clean if it stinks. Also, the front desk staff had her children with her while trying to check in at midnight.

Obviously had water damage in the bathroom just painted over, room a/c was mediocre but did work. Bedding and bathroom and all surfaces were sparklingly clean- the housekeeping staff must take pride in their work. Front desk staff were friendly and supportive, tech difficulties made check in an hour process for me. Landscaping was clear and well maintained throughout, construction was clearly marked. Tile was visibly damaged, missing inches along several steps or sections throughout hallways, but well tidied and marked.

Stayed for two days, was unable to get fresh towels due to them not having any clean. Carpet was dirty in room, when trying to call front desk they never answered the phone.

The system was down and they emrather rudely told us they had no idea when it would be up. They said well 20 other people showed up and they dealt with it. I asked how and they said they just went away. So we had to rebook somewhere else. Please refund the two days I had scheduled here

Service desk was surly at best, grounds are unkept, trash piled by door for days,misleading location only water edge close to is algae covered pond, floors were damp doors don’t actually shut and seal, hot water was barely warm wouldn’t stay here knowing what know now

There were cigarette butts all around the entrance and it smelled of smoke. The lobby was dirty. All the landscaping was overgrown with weeds and the parking lot had garbage all over. The hallway by our room smelled of pot and some kind of cleaner. We sat in the room for about 30 minutes while I looked for another place to stay. We booked somewhere else and immediately checked out. You couldn’t pay me to stay there.

Positives: Staff are super friendly and work hard, it’s obvious that the owners are working on upgrades/renovations, beds were comfortable, bedding and room were clean Negatives: The whole place smelled like marijuana, our non-smoking room smelled of faint cigarette smoke, overflowing trash bags left outside all the side doors around the building hindering walking on the sidewalk, sketchy people hanging out by parking lot and dumpsters, rips in the carpet of the room

Weeds growing everywhere. Toilet seat was loose. Big pit outside my window. Tear on the carpet. Had to change rooms since the first one I was assigned the air conditioner didn’t work. Wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed but, should only be about 4 out of 10.

We got there after 10:30pm the day of our check-in and the room still wasn’t cleaned and ready. Eventually we were able to get in the room and it was not clean—the floors had things all over (not vacuumed) and the bathroom was disgusting with hair, toe nails, and garbage on the floor. Ew, but we don’t plan on spending much time there so whatever. The next day we got back from our day out and the room was stuffy so we went to turn the ac on. NOPE! The plug kept tripping and it wouldn’t turn on despite resetting the surge protector. When we told the front desk at check-out, they said they would see if they could have someone look into it to see if they could fix it. No apologies. After finding out the ac didn’t work, we just decided to chill for a bit before bed. Someone down the hall had a dog (yay for dog friendly, but 😬) and it was barking non-stop. After about an hour, we called the front desk. The worker seemed confused why we would be calling them and said that she guesses she could knock on the door and see if they can quiet their dog. They did not. The dog barked all night. I travel a lot with my dogs, so I get some barking. However, this was not okay. Now on to the property. It was a mess—the halls had bits of what appears to be food and whatnot all over, the trashes leaving the building were overflowing for two days, the doors in and out were covered in filth. I am completely disappointment and would not recommend even if you don’t plan on spending much time here.

I needed a hotel on short notice and this was available. It is an older property and not well maintained outside. However my room was clean, the shower good, and the bed was great. I got very good value for what I paid. It would be nice if the exterior were better kept. Staff interaction was limited but pleasant.
