HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof East Lansing - Okemos

We had no electricity for 2.5 days and they didn’t other anything for accommodation. O had to throw out groceries

The staff was very helpful, the room was clean. Only issue was a family with young children was outside our window talking and playing on riding toys after 12am.

GREAT place to stay!!!!

The ONLY positive thing I can say about this hotel was that the room was clean and the staff was helpful. Other than that I was not impressed. This hotel needs a major cleanup-there were weeds everywhere, overgrown landscaping beds, the wood on the windows were in need of repair and overall aesthetically just gave me the ickies. The kitchen was useless as there were no kitchen items available. The towels had dirt streaks on them so we asked for new ones. Also, when I checked in I am certain the clerk was drinking. He kept burping while checking me in and had something in his hand called ‘Long Drink.’ I later found out this is an alcoholic drink. I don’t care if someone drinks, just don’t do it on the job and checking guests in. This place gave me the ick so bad that I spent more than a few minutes checking for bed bugs. Luckily, found none but I was more than happy to leave this hotel.
