Ticks in the bathrooms and when I asked them to move me they said it would be 72 dollars

The location was perfect and the beach view was fabulous! We had a large space and it was wonderful for our needs. We traveled with our little puppy and he loved the Sandy beach. The pool and hot tubs were great and the outdoor space was well maintained. It was a really nice trip.

It was a nice hotel to stay. Great customer service.

We had to wait an hour later than checkin time to get in our room. We had our dog with us so we couldn’t do anything but sit in the car and wait. The staff were rude and the room and halls smelled like cigarette smoke. The water pressure is terrible in the showers. I would not stay here again. We only stayed one night and had just a few hours to enjoy the beach. By the time we were able to get to the beach, it was too cold to enjoy.

I reserved a pricey beach view room for one night to celebrate my daughter’s 14th birthday. We arrived shortly before check-in, and was told the room wasn’t ready because they were waiting on linens to make the bed. This was around 3:40 PM, and check-in time was 4:00 PM. We decided to wait. Each time I asked they said it would be about 15 more minutes. So we decided to wait. The room wasn’t ready until 5:30 PM. When we finally got in the room it was not beach front, but poolside. You can see the ocean a little, but there is a large sand dune blocking the view of the actual beach. It was very loud, and when we went out on our balcony, or even went near the patio door the people at the pool stared at us. We ended up keeping the curtain closed so we had some privacy. Additionally, the toilet is broken and I had to remove the lid on the tank to fix the flapper every time we flushed the toilet. We didn’t get to enjoy the space at all due to the late check-in. I had the staff been honest with me about when the room would be ready we would have left to get dinner instead of waiting patiently. Instead we ate dinner in the evening and barely got enjoy the hotel at all. The hotel did offer us free parking, and free breakfast for our inconvenience, but that doesn’t even begin to cover it.

We arrived to find the room unlocked and the door open. We had a set of bunk beds, each bed had a blanket, both blankets were disgusting. They were sticky to the point I had to wash my hands after moving them. The floor lamp had to be unplugged to turn it off. The bedside reading lamp was hanging off the wall. The message light on the phone flashed continuously. The desk lamp was wobbly and VERY old. The only tea pods in the room were green tea. The to-go cups and lids were not the same size, so no lid! There is no bathroom in the lobby, I had to go out to the pool. After a 2-hour drive that was a bit further than I was ready for. I texted we needed 2 blankets, they texted back they'd send up new sheets. Restated I needed blankets. I received a bag of towels...3rd text produced the blankets. The breakfast buffet was overpriced based on available items.
