Cookies are amazing

Shoutout to the housekeeping staff - they are all so friendly, patient, provide the best customer service and have all smiles (they are so much friendlier than the guys at the front desk)! This hotel has great breakfast options for being a best western. Everyday the menu is updated- super cool!

Great place with great views. I travel to San Diego weekly abd this has become my favorite hotel so far. I go for walks at night without much concern. Parking is also reasonable considering what some places charge

Walk to the coast/beach, very central location, many dining options, friendly and welcoming staff, nice rooms and amenities. Very satisfied with our stay. Will definitely stay here if we come to Capitola / Santa Cruz again.

The only complaint that I could possibly find is that the scrambled eggs and bacon were just lukewarm at the breakfast.

We loved our stay here! The staff are wonderful and so kind and helpful. They’re clearly working hard to update the property and keep it in good condition. The room was perfect for us and we will definitely be back.

This was my second stay at this propert. My whole family was in Santa Cruz for a Memorial Service this weekend. The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming and accommodating... Even giving us adjoining rooms ( and we had not thought to request this at booking). I especially appreciate the hard flooring and all washable bedding. The rooms are quite spacious with updated, useful furnishings.

I needed a room that had some room to move around and do some work while I was there. There was a a great little coffee maker, mini fridge, and good lighting. I have stayed here before and would choose this hotel again.

We liked the stay at this property. However, when we checked in there was no parking available by the lobby so we had to park around the building and walk over to check in. They should have assigned parking for check in near the lobby.

I loved the aesthetic of this hotel- beautiful beach vibes throughout. The front desk employees were helpful and kind, the breakfast was delicious (biscuits and gravy made my morning) and the bed was super comfy. ☺️

This is a beautiful hotel close to everything in Capitola. It was clean, the staff friendly, the food was good, and they took care to help with allergies. We will definitely stay here again!

I loved how the employees greeted us when we got there. Everything was as expected on my booking plus all of the employees went the extra mile to make our stay very comfortable.

Nice customer service

The area is perfect close to shops and quick places to eat. This best western honestly had some of the best coffee for that alone I would stay here again. Rooms were spacious, the only complaint I have was one of the sinks in the entry was clogged but no big deal we just didn’t use it.

The service and check-in were great, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The location close to Whole Foods and New Leaf was convenient.

We had an enjoyable stay

We stayed here a couple of nights. We were on the first floor and it was so NOISY! The upstairs guests was noisy. We literally hear every step with a boom! We went to the front desk and spoke with the receptionist named Shala, to see if she can either move us to a quieter room or move the people above our room. She gave us a temporary room for the night but when we enter into the new room , there were people already there. She then said that she could not move us because we made our reservation thru Expedia. We went to tell her twice and finally, she called the people upstairs about our noise complaints. She could have handled this situation better, she showed fake empathy instead. We will not stay in this hotel ever again!

This hotel was really nice. They had a very clead pool and hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was really good. Great selection of dishes with fruits and juices. We really enjoyed our stay there.
