Fun place to break up the Traverse City experience and give the kids a fun place to play after being out and about all afternoon.

Checking in the associate wasn’t friendly. Tried to talk me into those passes. When I asked if I can add them on at a later time she looked at me and was silent. I had to repeat myself and then she said yes. When leaving, maid knocked on my door at about 9:40 and woke my kids up after knocking twice. If checkout is at 11am why did she knock on my door at 9:40? When I went to the door and explained we would be checking out bu 11am she rolled her eyes at me and said ok. Being treated poorly by staff leaves a bad taste in my mouth when considering returning.

We had a great time with our 2 kids. They loved the water park and really enjoyed the lodge overall!

My only complaint is we never had housekeeping come to our room in 3 days

My family and I stayed for two days. The hotel is dated, and we were not told upon check in that the cleaning service would not touch our room unless we requested. So we had no coffee or restocked towels. The Dunkin Donuts coffee shop inside is open whenever they have staff, and most days it closes at 1pm or sooner. The restuarnent had limited selection, and waitstaff was slow to take, bring orders even though the place wasn't crowded. We also ordered coffees with our dinner, which were never brought. We asked to have them taken off our bill and the waitress seemed annoyed with request. She never came to check on us once food was served, or to refill our waters. Food inside the water park was decent, but horribly overpriced as is everything else there. Arcade was good, all our games worked. Water park was okay; lots of unruly teens goofing off in lazy river and lifeguards do nothing. Three slides with super long lines. Bathrooms in the waterpark were gross. There is no pool that is deeper for adults. My kids were bored by second day. They are a cashless resort which is annoying. I was charged double for everything, and have been attempting to get the extra funds back. Its been a nightmare. And according to trip Advisor and Yelp, the constant over and double charging is a constant thing with a lot of people. We will not be going back and we've been going yearly since they opened.

I liked the food options available so you can stay on the property.

Everything was perfect. Lots for the kids to do. Everything you need available on site. Staff was one of the friendliest I've seen in a while. My only two complaints are 1. Everything closes a bit too early for my family. Waterpark closes at 8, Everything else closes at 10. I get staffing is probably the reason but I wish one food place was open later. Having a high maintenance toddler it is hard for us to not have food options available when we need them. 2. I'm not sure if this issue was with Great Wolf or Expedia.com. I booked my stay through Expedia and was a bit nervous when I showed up and they couldn't find my paid for reservation. Eventually the girl at the desk said she assumes they got my name wrong somehow. I had proof of my reservation in my email but after driving a long distance its scary to hear them not be able to find your reservation.

We were amazed at how clean everything was, especially the water park. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

I was thoroughly disappointed. We were not able to enjoy facilities since restaurant & everything had a wait. Had to leave at 11. The food was set to children without vegetables available.

I really like the rooms but hotel carpet looks dirt and washed too many times. Inside of elevator was gross, metal doors and trim inside elevators look like they have never been cleaned or polished. The put put golf needs makeover all items really faded and some things broke

A great property for both kids and adults! A lot of fun activities aside from water park, too. We will definitely be back.

So much fun for the kids. Many activity's to keep them busy and happy. We cant wait to go again.

Wasn’t overly impressed small water park with WAY to many people . Room definitely wasn’t what I considered to be clean . Long trip for us to be disappointed.

The staff was friendly and on point. The rooms could use updating, i.e. carpet mattress, but overall it was a great stay.

The staff was very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with all the Halloween activities they had for the kids. The only complaint I’d have is if I’m paying over $200 a night I’d like my room cleaned daily or at least the option to have it cleaned and I think the adult hot tub should be opened later then 8pm.

First I feel stupid - I paid 60 more per night with expedia - should have check on the great Wolfe website — second, the place is completely understaffed. There are lines for everything: coffee, restaurant, ice cream store, elevator, not enough tables in the water park. The park was nothing special but is good for younger kids, everything is really tries your patience.

Room's wall paper was peeling. Room was a handicapped and kind of was not great for a honeymoon.

Incredible time for my husband and I. Enjoyed the pool even though it was only 4 feet deep
