Quiet stay. We were welcomed by a very friendly gentleman. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Room was also very clean.

Not a good place to stay. Afternoon staff was present, but surly. We selected this place due to the relatively low cost. Reinforced the idea that you get what you pay for. Room was adequate but dated. When the guest above us walked around the room, our ceiling creaked so loudly it startled us until we got used to it. This is the only hotel (of this sort) we've stayed at that displayed the offerings for breakfast. But, then on the same display noted that not everything would necessarily be available. Why note what you have for your guests and then tell them "maybe not." Suggests that management is more into covering up problems rather than solving problems. We skipped the complimentary breakfast and went elsewhere. Will return to Dayton but won't stay here.

Great stay. A somewhat quiet room other than the fan motor on the heater/AC unit. Was a little loud at times. Staff was friendly and we would stay there again

We booked this room at the last minute. I had made a note that we needed a pet-free room (one that had had no dogs or cats within the previous few stays) due to severe animal allergies. Because it was a last minute booking, I also called the front desk ahead of time to make sure they had received the same message. She explained to me that he wasn’t able to view more than the previous occupants stay on her system, but that occupant had no animal with them.
When we arrived, she was more than nice about our issue and had noticed that there had been a “service animal” (aka “dog”) on the second floor where we had booked our room, and that she had kindly moved us to a different floor. Very nice of her, and we were VERY appreciative!! Our room was very clean, and quiet.
As a side note, I received an email from Country Inn and Suites this morning stating that ALL their rooms are “pet free”. Confusing…they do not allow “pets”, but they do allow “service animals”?

Solid features; friendly, welcoming staff. Not always easy for even the newest of facilities to live up to "wonderful", but IMHO, this one got-r-done.

First, staff was not very friendly. Second, the 2nd floor had a bad odor, but appeared clean. The property is obviously rundown with needed maintenance. Electricity went out over night along with telephone service to front desk which caused anginous for several hours. I would not pick this hotel if we return. There are nicer ones in the immediate area.

The stay overall was what you’d expect. The room was spacious and updated. The bed was comfortable. The location was great. The bathroom wasn’t great. The sink was clogged when I got there and there was significant rust and dirt around the tub area. The hotel, while updated, is definitely older. You can hear everything through the floors and walls.

I was really pleased with this stay. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, especially the lady who checked me in. I had some questions and she explained things clearly and took care of my needs. Also the breakfast was better than most and the people taking care of the breakfast area were friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

On the second day of my stay, I was lockout of my room, my keys doesn’t work. On the last day of my stays. They’re a black out the whole hotel. No light and elevator not working. No emergency flush light in the room. Going to pick at 4:30 am in the morning with no lights. The breakfast was good for the first two days, unfortunately there is no breakfast on three days because of the blackout.

Room was neat and very clean. Staff was very friendly especially the breakfast help who would respond promptly to every request. Not ours but anyone in the room.
Bed firm matress was a blessing.

For it's price, this stay was pretty much top notch. The room was impeccably clean, the hotel staff was friendly, great location, well stocked. The only issue I had was no plug for the bathtub, so no way to take a bath instead of a shower.

First night was great, second night guests in room above us thumped and pounded on floor until 4:30 AM. Sound proofing between levels is non existent. Other noise from above service and location suited our itinerary.

Hotel room had the smell of weed. They tried to cover up with spray, made it smell worse. Room was by laundry, got woke up early from the sound of the washers going. Best part about stay was the friendly front desk and that was it.

First off , do not book here, I wasn’t able to make my reservation January the 19th and wanted to reschedule, so the company has not issued a refund, that’s just being greedy, any upstanding company would issue a refund

Shocked at their approach to customers. The issues come from the top. Need major changes to customer service Not one desk clerk ever said “hello.” Breakast was all processed somewhere in a factory.

Front desk staff and breakfast staff were amazing. Hotel bed was amazing!! Our jetted tub could have been cleaner. The room also had some spots that needed repair. Overall this place was EXCELLENT.

Front desk staff not often at front desk. Security bar on door missing. Breakfast area dirty. Lamp in room broken and needed replacement. Hotel room next to ours door didn’t shut and could enter anytime. TV randomly turned off because the outlet was damaged and would not stay plugged in. We were traveling across country so for a pit stop this suited us fine. All minor inconveniences but they add up after a while.

The property was nice and the staff friendly and helpful. My problem was the bathroom smelled like sewage and in the morning water was dripping out or the ceiling vent in the bathroom all over the floor and toilet. Someone may have flooded the bathroom above.
