Rooms are so unhygienic bathroom was not clean enough… very compact rooms…food was so stale other customers complained same and manager was not bothered abt it ….i was charged 1400rs for one dinner and food was given cold and bad in taste…

Wonderful breakfast buffet and in house restaurant. My 6th visit to the Golkonda and I will return.

The hotel is fairly old now and needs some renovation. The space and amenities are good. But washroom was not that great.

Warning! Our group got violent food poisoning from the food served here at the buffet! I strongly advise to not stay at this hotel. Better to stay at the Novatel Hotel just down the road. For the price that you pay here, you expect clean and hygienic preparations with the food, but that was not the case here. Next time, I will definitely be going elsewhere, and if you don't want to get sick, I advise the same!

Tight space in rooms and bathroom shower fixture is not good

The rooms are quite small. The shower was leaking every time we used it and The water was leaking onto the floor. The bathroom floor was very outdated with many stains on the floor. The comforter on the bed had a strong smell. The housekeeping was done daily and the buffet in the restaurant was awesome.

Hotel Staffs are very very co operative & other facilities are good.

It was pretty standard. I must say, a little effort could've made this experience memorable. There is no doubt that the property is old, and it seems they are making an effort to renovate. The bathrooms were decently clean, but there were annoying leaks that flooded the bathroom. The linen had a few stains, although seems clean off the laundry. The items listed in the 24 hour menu were not available, which was disappointing. Food was above average for sure, no complains there. Breakfast served at lobby was pretty good, decent spread. Coffee was substandard and cups were not present any of the days at the buffet and had to be asked for. Don't get me wrong, the rooms were clean and stay was comfortable. Lastly, i was asked to check out early at 11:30am because "they were overbooked"

Stsyed 1 night yesterday but spent 2 weeks at the Golkinda two years ago and had a pleasant stay. All the staff are very helpful and breakfast has a good choice with reasonable quick service. We requested and were allowed a late check out. I recommended the Golkonda.

Staff and food are excellent, Clean premises showers need to be maintained example shower doors don’t close well, soap dish in the shower is not anchored well, water serps out thrpugh the shower door and makes the restroom wet.

Check-in was quick process, hotel was clean and good.

The staff is unfriendly and trained to deny any request. I would not recommend this place.

The hotel is not 4 star as Expedia states. It is really awful with moldy hallways, rooms, mold in the bathrooms and all kinds of marks on the furniture in the room. We booked for a week and ended up switching the hotel after 1 night. I would have done that sooner if not for our late checkin which meant we could not get a hotel sooner

When we went to the front office after the breakfast, the bills weren't ready and check out took another 20 minutes. The Golkonda hotel is a nice building, that could do with a facelift. The front of house staff, are very presentable, and helpful. The food was very good, and I looked forward to the breakfast buffet in the mornings. Unfortunately, the people who serviced our room let the hotel down badly. The standard of cleaning was poor, they spent more time folding the towels into animal shapes for tips, and I noticed someone had been looking at our possessions, instead of working on the room. It wasn't until we returned to England that I discovered my tablet was missing. I've made the hotel manager aware of this. If you decide to stay at the Golkonda keep a good watch on your things!
