We stayed 6 days at this hotel. Hotel was clean. Room was nice. Front desk staff was friendly. My complaint is that their cleaning people were short staffed. We stayed 6 nights and not once was our room cleaned. We always had to go to front desk and ask for towels. We would tell the front desk about not getting our room cleaned. They apologized and said they would make a note of it. The cleaning people were always on our floor and even in the rooms next to us when we would leave, but not touch our room. I would like to acknowledge one front desk person. Her name was Leslie. When we first arrived we had a lot of problems with room keys and she knows what else. She was very friendly and made sure our problems were taken care of that night.

Room, we stayed in was right beside where the cleaning personnel kept their equipment and supplies, so it was fairly noisy. Also, the room had some damage in to that looked like someone locked a dog in bathroom and it chewed some of the cabinet. Breakfast was good and hotel was clean. Lots of traffic outside but it was in good location.

The staff has been very helpful and welcoming. I'm usually in town for work at least two days per week, and I always stay here. The beds sleep comfortably and the bathrooms are a nice size.

We selected this location for the pool and hot tub. We were going to be traveling all day and just staying one night. We were informed they no longer have the hot tub and the pool was closed due to chemical imbalance that morning. The staff at the counter didn’t seem to care about our feelings. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was nice but the TP was so thin it tore very easy and there was paint or wall paper peeling around the tub. I would not stay there if I travel thru Longview again.

I had a good stay. The hotel was in a great location near the mall and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. However, the room not sound proof. I could hear hallway noise. I never got the tv to work something was wrong with the satellite. The breakfast was mediocre. We went to breakfast around 9:20am. The waffle batter was almost empty. The eggs and sausage was empty. There was no butter, no yogurt, no fruit. I had to ask the attendant to replenish the items. She made it seem like she could not put everything out because people would take it.

Bed bugs, they didn’t care. All they wanted was us to switch rooms. We didn’t, we left because we didn’t want to take a chance.

This felt more like a dog hotel. Everywhere I turned there were dogs in the area staying at the hotel. The sign at the breakfast room clearly states no dogs allowed in the area and of course I see a dog when I around the corner. I had to call the front desk to tell them to quiet the neighbors dog, because it was yapping and barking in the middle of the night and the person and their owner seem not to mind.
Take your pets on vacation be responsible for them, and the hotel needs to adhere to the rules. The hotel looks good on the outside but is subpar inside and the breakfast was a joke. Definitely my last stay here.

I would have graded this property a "5" as it is a very nice hotel, great location and, well, a La Quinta. However, the handicapped parking in conjunction to the hotel access and the accessible rooms are very inconvenient, forcing a person to walk/wheelchair a lengthy distance in/out and back/forth to the room. Just seems to be designed backwards, especially with limited entry/exit points.

The side door did not lock at all. Very unsafe and misleading to say you need the room key to access the side entrance. Had to remove rooms due to the sink in the first room not working. The only positive note is the delicious breakfast. Will not be staying here again.

This was my first time visitng Longview, I came to see family. Booking the hotel stay was last minute and the stay was awesome. My kids enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk was helpful, I'm happy with my stay.

No hot tub when one was advertised! They have filled it in! Sheets had lint all over them. Behind beside tables hadnt been vacuumed. Tub and shower outdated. Weird smell everywhere! Needed serious upgrades

It was comfortable and affordable. There was a big roach in the shower when i got there though. Seemed to be an anomaly and not indicative of the general upkeep of the hotel.

When i checked in the the front desk girl she questioned her coworker who told her my husband and I have the same last name he wasnt with me at check in and she said he has to be with you and the co worker said if the last name is the same he can check in the lady says i been in the hotel industry for 4 years and thats never been the case but okkkk!

Horrible customer service. I wasn’t greeted when I came in after a long drive. I had to sit and wait while the woman behind the desk was on her phone chatting and showing pictures to someone in the lobby having a good ok time. She ignored me completely until I finally interrupted her and asked to please check me in. Even they they acted like it was an inconvenience. Horrible stay. Rude. The whole experience stunk and I’m planning on contacting their corporate office since their manager didn’t seem to care

The room was clean and comfortable. However, the room in which I stayed was located directly above the dining area and the open lobby below. All night I could hear the guests coming in and out and the conversations at the front desk. When they were setting up the breakfast that could also be easily heard. Recommend the hotel just make sure to request a room that is not on the balcony end of the second floor.

This is supposed to be a smoke free hotel, but our room reeked like a dirty ashtray. Every time the A/C would kick on I felt like I was taking a grad of a Marlboro. The listing said the hotel had an indoor pool and hot tub, but to our surprise the pool was closed till further notice and the spa was no more. I was glad that the hot breakfast was available.

I stay in this hotel iften to conduct business in Longview. The exterior is receiving attention, but my rooms over the past couple of years, not. This trip, a chewed piece of gum was by the nightstand on the carpet. Yuck. How did this get overlooked?

There is no hot tub, it’s been sealed and paved over. The heating element of the indoor pool is broken as well so it was FREEZING probably about 60 degrees we couldn’t even swim. Really disappointed as the whole reason we got this hotel was for the pool and hot tub. I stayed for the weekend of 9/17/2023 I’m not sure when or if they plan on fixing the pool.
