We got to the hotel at checkin time and had to wait .. wasn’t ready for us

Well check in was great, was happy with the room and service. Even the night attendant was friendly and tried to help. I believe the room above or beside had the tv blaring until 3am! the attendant ask them to put it down but they just didn't put it down enough. kept us up for an other hr, then the garbage truck came in at 330-345 yes am. who the hell gets there garbage picked up at 3 am where people trust to get a good rest. our reason for the stay was we where tired and need to sleep before our long drive to Timmins (7hrs) well i want tell you you put my life and my wife life in danger as I was tired the whole trip home. almost fell asleep at the wheel 3 times. I understand that's the garbage trucks has a job to do but seriously you are the customer so you tell them what time works best for your business. Not in the middle of the night. There are many hrs. in the day for this service to be done. 3hrs of sleep is dangerous but I could not take it anymore so we left at 4am. Price is ridiculous for 3hr of sleep. I plan on traveling to Barrie in the near future and would like to give this place a second chance.

Delicious coffee available in the lobby. Generous free parking as well as large windows in the pool/gym area. You control your own room thermostat however the bathroom fan ran all night, regrettably no off switch. Being a light sleeper this did not work for me.

Would have given a 5 but had to wait to check in after 3 PM, had to call to get towels at the pool and was very disturbed that the emergency phone didn’t work at the pool.

All staff was super friendly. The breakfast was hot and well stocked. Pool room is a good size. Clean hotel.

The sofa bed was dirty and the cushions were torn. When we made the bed for my son, the bed was on a slanted angle almost as though it was broken. Crumbs under the cushions.

The pool was not very clean. There were no towels at the pool and when tried to call the front desk the phone in the pool did not work. This was also the emergency phone. The breakfast was not great. The hotel was not worth the money. I spent the same staying I. Ottawa and that hotel was amazing. I would have rated this worth maybe $100 not $300 plus tax

Greeting at front desk at checking in was long (filling out my address again!) one person that seemed less than happy to be there.
