Perfect little motel in the perfect little town. It is so refreshing to get value these day.

Great vintage motel. Sunset is all in with the ‘50s style complete with a turntable and a few records available in the room. Comfortable, clean room and nice outdoor places. Right in town, the motel was very convenient. Can’t wait to visit again.

We stay in Brevard quite often & this was the first time at the Sunset Motel. I really loved the room decorations and the room was very clean. It was different than staying at a big chain hotel & we thought it was really a nice area.
I will say that when we had children, we would have loved to stay because there was a kitchenette in our room and I would have cooked breakfast & lunch for the kids there but would have had to buy a few things to make it work. It would be perfectly fine for one or two people though.
No cleaning service between multiple days stay though so if you needed more coffee for your room coffee maker, make sure to buy some locally! That really was the only thing that was below my expectations.
Overall & good & fun stay. Would do it again!

My stay at the Sunset Motel exceeded my initial expectations. I was in the apartment and my first impression was… very cool, the décor was 60’s retro. Everything was clean and in good condition and kitchen appliances were like new. A staff member was available by phone and very friendly. There was a turntable with a half dozen LPs. Putting the needle on vinyl took me back decades. I will stay there again, if the apartment is available.

Very Basic motel. Clean. Close to a noisy highway and the heater thermostat didn’t work properly. We did have heat but the temperature was about 10 degrees or more different than what the heater/thermostat read. Pillows were extremely soft.

Cool look but the room needs updating especially the bathroom. Wasn’t until the next morning we realized there wasn’t any soap or shampoo in the room so just rinsed off without lather. No cable with a sketchy fire stick set up with no local stations. Beds no too comfortable. So while kitschy not too comfortable.

Stayed here for a week in the 1 bed suite - very nice. Especially liked the kitchen with induction hob, coffee machine, microwave, toaster etc and a full set of pots crockery etc.

They have a wonderful back area with a fire pit. It was so nice to sit out there after we walked to the brewery and dinner. Very nice

Really enjoyed the retro motel experience. Fantastic job keeping the property up, room was very clean. We would definitely come back for a stay.

Room was very small and we kept bumping into each other at the bathroom door. Also Wi-Fi and internet very sketchy. Actually the first time we have ever been disappointed at the Sunset. We did not use maid service at all but still tipped. We will come back anyway.

We really enjoyed our trip to Brevard and our stay at the Subset Motel. We’ve frequented Brevard and have always loved this little motel, so it was fun to get to stay there. It was very convenient to everything, the beds were comfortable, we had plenty of towels, and the water pressure was good. The only downside is that being an older building, the walls are thin so it’s easy to hear street noise. We just slept with a soundscape going to help block out some noise and that worked well for us. We have no complaints. It’s definitely just your basic room, but we don’t go to the mountains to stay in our room.

Super cute motel with fun vintage feel. We loved the Victoria in the room! Easy check in and checkout. Felt safe and comfortable.
Only had an issue with one thing, which was the lack of a shower curtain liner. There was only the outer fabric curtain, therefore making for a bunch of water on the floor.

An old "motor court", nicely redone some years ago. Ok furniture, good bed, and so-so bathroom. A good value in a high demand area.

This is one of the cutest places we have stayed. So quant and lots of places outside to relax and visit with friends. Nice decor, super cute.

The motel was wonderful . Kid and dog friendly. Staff is very nice. Property is so cute and well maintained. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Proximity to downtown Brevard is excellent . Definitely walkable. Also close to many other things to see and do. A !! Thank you Sunset Motel!

The Sunset Motel is an older building that has been renovated in a retro style. Eventhough it is on a main road, the owners have created a lovely area with picnic tables, hammocks, a fire pit and corn hole. It would stay here again should I be in Brevard again.

It truly was a great experience, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful scenic mountains, the staff was really helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean.
