The location was wonderful. I could walk to town. But the room was cold. I couldn't get the heater to work. The only light was one small lamp. They need to put another lamp by the bed. The size of the room was good and it was good to have the refrigerator.

Being able to walk to town and the beach was great. We enjoyed the facilities. The staff at breakfast were attentive, caring and top notch. We would definitely go again.

Room was dated. No outlets in the bathroom and no outlets conveniently located in the room. How do you dry your hair when the only reachable plug is next to the bed behind the nightstand? And no extension cord? There is an ironing board and iron but no place convenient or easily accessible to plug in and use them?

The staff was kind. The floor in the room needed more cleaning, but the beds were nice. The swings and the pool were nice.
A few updates for the hall, dining, and common areas would be great ( even if it woud raise the cost of the the room).

The property was probably the spot to be in its hay day 25 years ago. But it was pretty dated. Clean, but dated. The breakfast were fun the food was good the staff were so cool and kind.

Right behind Main Street shops and restaurants. A historic inn in the Cape Cod tradition with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, breakfast included and comfy beds. Would stay here again for the proximity to Main Street. 15 min walk to beach.

We stayed in the double queen room in the building with the indoor pool. There are several buildings on the property so I can't speak for all. Room was spacious and very clean. Furnishings were a bit dated as many Cape hotels are. Part of the Cape charm to me. Grounds were lovely and both pools were clean and well kept up. Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't get daily room cleaning but we were only there for 3 nights and I actually prefer to not have it. I am certain that if we needed something it would be supplied to us. Very close to beautiful downtown Falmouth and a 15 minute walk to the beach. All in all, a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating! The grounds are spacious and well-kept. The location is perfect-walking distance to the town center as well as the beach. We had an amazing time.

Great location in Falmouth. Convenient to walk to shopping and dining. About a 10 min walk to the beach. Make sure to bring beach shoes. Beach is very rocky.

The property was fine- grounds well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and the servers were prompt and pleasant. Staff was pleasant and prompt with questions. The room however was a disappointment. Room felt damp even with the air conditioner on. The rug was damp/wet and I think there was a leak in the BR wall- the paint was sagging. Towels were threadbare. Overall a disappointment.

Room was spacious - enjoyed the full sized refrigerator and round table and chairs looking out the big window (old style fire truck was in view). TV was out for the first night, but was available the second night. Decor was dated, but mostly comfortable for our two night stay. Quiet location with plenty of parking spaces. Close to town.

This is a lovely old-fashioned resort. Yes a bit tired with some of the furniture a bit of a mix from grandma's house or value village but the beds and linens felt new and very comfortable. Very clean. The room with two queen beds was large. The property was large and felt grand with the lawn and several resort buildings. I didn't use the indoor pool but it looked really inviting with lots of windows. Location was super with main street just a few minutes walk away and the beaches about 600m down the road. Caveat - I was there at low season, probably only a handful of guests, so very quiet in the building and property.

The stay at shoreways inn was mixed really. The check in was good, nice indoor pool and easy parking. The decor we thought was tired looking, especially in the bedroom. The room was spacious but definitely needed updating. The bath and sink were marked and chipped, the fridge very old and noisy. The entrance and passage way to the room's wasn't vacuumed while we were there the 3 nights and overall very tired looking.
The good points were the breakfast which was a good selection of hot and cold items and is included in the room rate. Paula our server was lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The location is great, easy 5 minute walk to the restaurants and shops of Falmouth with a great choice, as I said easy parking and nice pool area. Just in our opinion tired decor and basic cleaning letting it down.

My sister and I stayed here for a family visit. We both enjoyed having a refrigerator and microwave in our room. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a free buffet breakfast was fantastic. Our hostess Paula was outstanding. She was so friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond.

I was there for 5 days and was told that house keeping would freshen up my room around the middle of my stay which never happened. They never entered my room the entire stay.For the price it should have been cleaner than it was. It was dirty to begin with.

This place is adorable! It's affordable and cute. I felt like I'd walked into a 1950's resort in the Pocono's. It's a place out of time. They don't make them like this anymore. Everything is well-maintained. The staff has worked there for years and could not be nicer. You can easily walk to downtown restaurants and shops. The breakfast is huge with home-made muffins and scones. We usually stay in more expensive places but came here because other spots were booked - so glad they were! We'll definitely be back. Charming!

My wife and I love this hotel. We took our honeymoon here and come back every year. The rooms are clean and comfortable, pools are awesome, breakfasts are delicious and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Pleasantly surprised by how good this place is. Its tucked behind the heart of Main St Falmouth so everything you need is walkable. Surf Beach is less than a mile away. The outdoor grounds we're Extremely nice and clean. Theres porch swings, tables to picnic, volleyball net. Actually nicer than pictured. The Outdoor pool was awesome. The indoor pool was awesome. The lady at the front office was very kind and helpful. The rooms where I stayed in the "pool hotel" were dated. Tv was small and not hi def. Other than that very good.

You Get Less Than You Pay For
My wife and I stayed here for two days in July to see local sights and take ferry to MV for the day. Highly recommend Falmouth area for short vacation. The ShoreWay Acres Inn was convenient to town and ferry and the grounds were neatly maintained. There are several buildings. We stayed two nights in the one with the indoor pool and where breakfast was served. The room was large with a refrigerator and a step-down (be careful) area with a table and two chairs. The room, key-operated door and accommodations are rather dated, particularly the bathroom with its very cramped tub/shower, unusually small toilet and lack of a vent. The tub and soap holder appeared to have not been cleaned. Towels were skimpy. The breakfast was excellent and made even better with the friendliness and competence of Paula and Stephen. For what we paid to stay at this Inn, it was rather ordinary. We expected more.
