The hotel is centrally located, and the service is unmatched. The hotel is beautiful, rooms spacious, and the bar is gorgeous as well. We would stay here every time we come back to Osaka!

This is my story of never choosing St. Regis in Osaka again. Check-in on that day was a little before 22:00. The grand entrance is empty. When I entered the building, there were no staff members who spoke to me, and I was worried that I had arrived at the wrong office building. I checked in not feeling welcomed at all. I was a little hungry, but the last order at the bar had already been taken. Room dining has also ended. When I asked what I should do, I was politely told, "Please go to a convenience store." When I talked to the butler about ordering an Uber delivery, he very politely told me, ``For hygiene reasons, we cannot allow food to be brought in from outside the hotel, and of course he cannot help you.'' He told me how sorry he was. . As a result, I was one of the guests walking through the very elegant lobby, holding in both hands a bowl of soup that the convenience store staff had warmed up in the microwave. In that short time, there were two other groups doing the same thing besides me. To add an experience to the story, I asked the butler for tea and when I told him I wanted a refill, he was a little confused and said, ``Butler-serviced drinks are only available twice.'' I was confused by that word. I am convinced that St. Regis Osaka has a different definition of butler service than the ones I have experienced so far. It just wasn't my favorite St. Regis hospitality experience. But I had high expectations for breakfast. If it's my fault for arriving late, I'm sur

We had an amazing experience. The butler service was out of this world, catering to all of our needs. La Veduta restaurant was amazing, the decor food and service was fantastic. The location of the hotel is walking distance to shopping and the famous Dotonbori precinct. The concierge were fantastic in recommending great restaurants in the area. Overall we cannot fault it, just incredible! Thank you to the team at St Regis for looking after us. ❤️🥰

This is a joke for a luxury hotel. Room very nice but everything else absolutely lacking. Food is average at best. Service unreliable. I recommend replacing the manager who obviously has no idea how to manage a luxury property.

Almost everything that we expect from a St. Regis property with the two following exceptions. We left our room every day between 630 and 8:30 AM, returning on one of the days at 4 PM only to find housekeeping first making up the room. I’m certain because he was rushing we were left without towels, bathmats, toiletries, complementary water and floor tiles exposing the shower drain. When we called the Butler service to request those items we were first told that it would take some time to receive them. All we wanted to do was come back from a long day of touring to shower, change and go out for dinner. This created a bit of an inconvenience. One should be concerned when you send something out for dry cleaning as their chemicals on much harsher than those in the US, ruining a brand new expensive pant and top, which came back all pilled. (Laundry service is amazing)
The concierge is very helpful in obtaining train tickets and car reservations. However, upon our departure, he was a bit rude.
Service during breakfast is attentive, and food selection is delicious. We would absolutely stay again, but wanted to mention a few things to help others.

Mold in showers. Mismatched kimono sash. Awkward forced butler conversation. Cigarette burned furniture. Extremely expensive dinner. Bar is always booked up and therefore not usable by hotel guests. 5/5 stars.

This is a beautiful hotel, close to transportation and walking distance to restaurants & shopping. But, the best thing about it was the staff and their attention to detail. On a couple of occasions, when asked about specific types of restaurants, they actually walked us to the restaurant! They were extremely helpful, kind and greeted us pleasantly each time we left and returned to the hotel. It was a wonderful experience!

As always the St. Regis has the highest quality of service. The rooms, bedding views are top notch! Our butler was always available to make sure we are enjoying our stay. The concierge was also always providing us with info for best restaurant, train to take etc. the only thing we did not care for is the food in the italian restaurant, it is Very pricey and the food is just average.

Beautiful bar, fabulous staff, really wonderful Italian restaurant. Rooms were perfect and the turndown service is amazing. Great boutique hotel in the heart of Osaka. Also located at the North start of Shinsaibashi-suji, which is the 10 block long covered shopping corridor which leads you right to Dotombori (famous outdoor food and entertainment area). Overall a perfect stay. May just have to come back to Osaka to stay here again.

Understaffed, no one helped us with our luggage nor showed us where check in was.
When we had finally been able to get the attention of someone in a uniform (not without difficulties), we were escorted to checkin, only to find that it’s another 30-45 min wait to check in.
Highly unpleasant and did not match its price point. Along the corridors of the rooms m, wallpapers were peeling off and wooden frames scratched up. Ill maintained for an 8 year old hotel.
Upon complaints, the staff did try to make a difference by offering us a better room. It still didn’t make for a good traveling experience.
Highly recommended to avoid this hotel.

The breakfast could be improved, in 3 days they had the same exact things in the buffet. Having a proper Italian coffee macchine I was expecting a little bit more from the cooffe. The breakfast staff need some more training and especially improve language skills.
Overall the hotel was amazing, the concierge gave nice and authentic suggestions.
