El Balcon

Great colonial hotel in a good location. It was close enough to walk to the main square and restaurants but far enough away from them to be quiet. It has a beautiful inner courtyard with a garden. The balcony was nice for sitting to enjoy the view of the City. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. They provided a heater since it was a little cold at night. The water in the shower took a minute to get hot but it was nice pressure and hot. The breakfast was amazing - fresh hot food with fruit/coffee/ tea. We got our clothes laundered through them, which was very helpful but there were other places around the hotel to do this. The staff were amazing and very happy to help with any request. I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful true gem. It really exceeded my expectations. Location was great, near all the restaurants and a couple of blocks from main square. Authentic 1700’s family hotel with all the charm of a real Cusco historic home. Rooms comfortable, very roomy (we got the family suite). Staff there was very helpful and friendly, big thanks to the nice ladies that run the kitchen during breakfast time and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed their delicious meals. Highly recommended!

I loved staying at this hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and cozy, the bathrooms very modern! I loved the atmosphere of the hotel overall, a quiet garden oasis. The breakfast was included and really fresh, tasty options every morning. The kitchen staff were so sweet and made it an enjoyable start to our day exploring Cusco. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the city ☺️
