Small intimate boutique hotel near shopping and restaurants in Cruz Bay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was nearby and walkable. I would definitely stay there again.

Cruz Bay Hotel was absolutely wonderful. Denise was so accommodating to all my needs. She picked me up when I got lost getting there. She gave me her sunscreen when I couldn't find mine. The breakfast was filling. Wifi stayed connected. Shower remained hot. AC worked and kept the room cold. And the bed was super comfortable. Did I mention it's in the heart of all the restaurants, shops and festivities! Taxis right down the street to get to the beach. It was such a relaxing time!!! I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. It will be my go to for all my future stays in St. John.

When you are in St John you likely don’t spend a lot of time in your room. This small but very functional and comfortable room is perfectly located. The service superior, with lovely terrace patios for a quick coffee and breakfast (complimentary). No insane hills to climb, and plenty of restaurants. Also excellent AC for the insanely humid June weather.

This 15-room hotel is a true gem of Cruz Bay on the island of St. John in the US Virgin Islands. The proprietors operate a very clean and most convenient establishment. Not only was the hotel’s location convenient, but it offered complimentary beach towels, beach chairs and lounge chairs, on the honor basis and even complimentary sunscreen. Breakfast choices of oatmeal, yogurt, muffins, fresh fruit, and, most importantly coffee, is offered between 7 and 10 AM. As the primary purpose for my visit was photographing the nearby Virgin Islands National Park, which covers 2/3 of the island, Denise, one of owners, contacted a tour guide vendor on my behalf. This resulted in my obtaining the superb services of Kenneth Marsh, a remarkable and very likable tour guide who, at 82, was born, raised, and has lived most of his life on St. John. He provided a wealth of knowledge on the Park’s history and took me to numerous venues for photo ops throughout the Park. This contact proved invaluable. Having wrapped up my photo project early, Denise suggested my walking the few minutes to Low Key Watersports where I arranged for 2-tank boat dives on each of two days. The diving was grand with excellent divemasters. My stay at Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel was outstanding!!

The property is very clean and the location is great. The ferry is just a couple of short blocks and the property is downtown. Plenty of restaurants and bars that you can just walk to. There is also a small market just around the corner. David and Denise are great hostesses.

Lovely hotel that I would highly recommend when staying at Cruz Bay. Don't rent a car. Easy 1 block walk from ferry. No parking at hotel (but all hotels are pretty much that way and parking is an issue all over the island). Have free to use beach chairs, ice chests, beach towels. Water dispenser for water bottles. Hospitality off the charts! And the rooms are very nice. Definitely staying here again.

Wonderful! All aspects of our stay were fantastic. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, relaxing and friendly! The owners genuinely care about your stay and are so helpful with navigating the area, recommending places to eat, explaining the different beaches, transportation, etc. Highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely small hotel in the heart of Cruz Bay. Friendly helpful owners. Rooms are basic but very clean. Nice veranda for morning coffee. Location could not be better. Walkable from the ferry upon arrival. Walkable to many nice restaurants and shopping. We caught nearby cabs to the North shore beaches for the day. It was a wonderful stay. I recommend.

Denise and David are excellent hosts, wonderful people and very helpful with accommodations! We highly recommend this property. Close to everything in local area without having to rent a car (or worse, hoof-it up hills!). Easily walk to Salomon Beach or Honeymoon Beach via NPS trail; about a 1 mile walk. Freewater Church on Hawksnest Beach is great on the beach, Sundays, 10. A.M.

Great location and great service. The owner managers were great. There was complementary water in the lobby 24/7 and fruit, coffee and pastries in the morning. The room was very clean. It can be loud during the evening hours due to the location in town.

Nice cozy little hotel that is very convenient to restaurants, the Red Hook ferry, and beach taxis. No need to rent a car if you are staying here. Not very fancy, but we didn't go to St. John to sit in our room! Some colorful characters pass by, as might be expected in the Islands ... from the guys selling weed on the corner to the old man dancing to who-knows-what tune in his head. Fun watching the chickens strut around town. Make sure to book restaurants well in advance if you want to eat before 9 PM.

Amenities good but rooms are tiny for the price and interior of rooms need to be redone by a professional to fix the walls and woodwork and painted.

Having rated hotels and restaurants for over 22 years for AAA tourbook, I liked this place. The location is great, 2 blocks from the ferry. The owners Dave and Denise are hard working, gracious and informative. Our room was not big, but it had all we needed. It had a free continental breakfast every morning. Sitting out on the patio day or night was nice too. We would go back to Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel. Bill and Carole V

The owners are friendly and accommodating. Cute place in the middle of everything in Cruz Bay. Late night "rap" music from cars cruzing the block take away some of the charm....
