We loved our experience at Alam Ubud, the hotel itself is clean, quiet, modern, and just beautiful. It also has an incredible view of the jungle, which was what we were looking for. The staff was just great, extremely nice, and helpful. We're definitely coming back soon!

Beautifully green nature. Amazing private pool and huge villa room. Great deal. Property needs revitalization after 2 year covid slow down.

First impressions lasted throughout his whole stay here. It was breathtakingly beautiful set about a 15 min drive from Ubud centre, in the jungle. The jungle was peaceful and let off the most relaxing sounds, including constant water running with the river below the property. Infinite amount of gorgeous jungle plants, well maintained facilities including 2 pools! (One next to the restaurant and one down the stairs for a more jungle/private location) the vilas were enormous for 2 people. The bathroom of Bima 8 including a beautiful spa bath and walk in shower room. Air con worked very well. The balcony was incredibly private and perfect to lay on the day bed and relax. Breakfast which was included was delicious!! Very filling! It was a set menu with 4 options so you can mix it up everyday. We had dinner there also and the prices are reasonable. Same with scooter hire (we drove around the rice paddies/small villages near the accommodation. Also to see the temples/rice terrace nearby) Highly recommend the full body massage with the relaxing sounds of the jungle outside. Endra and Leo made us feel most welcome and at home. They were great company, always wanting a genuine conversation. They and all the staff made the stay even better than we could have imagined! Couldn’t be more appreciative!!

Anyone considering this property please read this review..I am NEVER the person to leave reviews but the Alam Ubud needs to get their head on straight with almost everything. For one: This was a spur of the moment booking, we had been in Kuta and couldnt stand all the drunk abnoxious tourists, we booked the Alam for 7 days on the same day we arrived. They advertised as being a very sucluded tucked away, quiet place and never mentioned any construction going on in the listing. On arrival we met the actual owner, he had his wife with him and child. Offered my wife and i a beer on his account.. okay awesome..Then starts randomly talking about how everyone thinks hes arabic when he is Balinese. Like wtf i dont care. But alright. We quickly realized he thought we were some rich high end americans because we booked the alam the same day for 7 days. It was strange and just made us feeling very uncomfortable with how he presented himself. First morning we got woken up at 6am to what sounded like a dump truck dumping rocks on our villa roof.I asked the reception(in my underwear and half asleep still) what the heck is going on.. they said oh sorry sir we will go tell them to be quit. And offered a floating breakfast to make up for it. 2nd morning!! 7am!! Same sound.. again i go ask wtf is going on now. They said oh we are sorry we will go talk to them again. So 100usd a night and i keep getting woken up to constriction going on at 6 - 7am 20 feet behind our villa.

Staff very friendly although no staff/service when in pool. Room had few faults, not all the lights worked, the mirror in bathroom was very old and hazy, room door couldn't close properly, all the windows was dirty which ruined the view. Nice location away from all the street activity etc though which was good.

Beautiful resort, with fantastic views. The staff are so friendly. Be warned there are a lot of steps though! Still worth it.

Beautiful location, very tranquil & relaxing. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. I had 2 mssage spa treatments which were amazing. Excellent restaurant and i loved the jungle setting of the villas. Hard to find anything to fault.

Beautiful villas tucked away in the jungle and overlooking a river. The food at the restaurant is reasonably priced and very good. There are two pools - one is an infinity pool at the top of the property overlooking the jungle and the other is at the bottom of the property overlooking the river. The staff here is amazing as well - very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is build in a cliff and the views from the infinity pool are stunning. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had to climb 100 steps every day to go to the pool and the restaurant but it worth it! The breakfast can be improved as the variety of the buffet is poor. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

I can't explain by words how good it was to stay here. It's not very turistic which means much calmer and much cheaper to buy stuff. They're always available for service. Private pool and two outside pools. Love the infinity pool on the terraces.

Only two things were less than perfect. There were ants here and there in our Villa, but that's not a surprise when so close to nature, and I wouldn't want them to be sprayed. Also, the bicycles need a full overhaul, though they were serviceable for short distance riding. The staff were great and the setting is fantastic. If you want serenity, this is an excellent choice.

A very pleasant experience. Excellent staff, location & ambience.

Not what you would expect when charging such high rates. Things need updating here such as the breakfast menu which has limited options and is written in a quite juvenile style; the way the rooms are kept and cleaned (mosquito net had many holes in it), etc. I have left a more detailed review on TA. Only thing that made up for this was the location which was far out of town and in a wild setting and the wonderful staff. All issues are to do with management who are clearly being lazy with the details and not updating things in keeping with the extortionate rates they charge.

We loved this hotel! Absolutely beautiful view in a great area just outside of Ubud. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were very happy with the service we were provided. On site spa services and restaurant! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful quiet & relaxing surroundings. The free shuttle buses are fantastic because it is a bit of drive into Ubud. Beautiful friendly staff.

Beautiful villas in the middle of jungle very close to Ubud. You will appreciate quite location with only few other hotel guests in the nature. Its great for relax.

These villas are great for people looking to be in the heart of ubud's amazing scenery. The location is about a 15min drive from ubud town but it was not a problem. Taxis are available but there can be a bit of a wait. The pools here were great and yes the scenery was awesome! The rooms could do with a some updating. Our bedding was quite stained and cobwebs and dead insets in every room. the ants were also a major problem. more care to unsure guests rooms were inset free would make staying here a lot more comfortable

Waking up in Alam villas was a breath taking sight everyday staff were extremely helpful and friendly.Only the stairs were very hard to handle that was the only downside

Friendly staffs; relaxing environment; a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle in the city.Downside of the villa is its steep stairs without elevator.
