Mt Barney Lodge Country Retreat

Great place, it’s my third time staying at the lodge. Easy access to all the moutain hikes, amazing scenery and lots of wildlife.

I have stayed here at least 6 times and it truly is a jewel in the crown of SEQ. they are very reasonable in everything and honest about everything. A trusted safe and pleasant stay. 5 stars. The only downside is some of the facilities are a bit run down but I don’t mind as it makes it ultimately affordable. Well done to staff and all involved

Wonderful home away from home. Great place to be in the midst of nature. Staff excellent. The campsite facilities are clean and accessible. Will definitely plan to return again when we can.

Beautiful location close to national park, but very basic facilities that were vastly overpriced for what is on offer This is not a lodge, but a basic camp site. After paying $360 for two nights for two people for basic, uncomfortable beds with outdoor toilets that were part of the camp site, linen was charged extra! It would be ok if we were told clearly beforehand what we were dealing with; but the impression raised on the web site is not correct, and promises far more then what is delivered. However, if you are looking for a beautiful quiet spot in the Bush, and you like walking, and don’t mind being ripped off - this is the spot.
