Fantastic location if slightly out of the way is what you are after. Nice place, probably better with transport. Quiet, secluded chalets which looked great, felt great. A little bit tired in some of the decor, but thats just a small grumble.

First room wasn’t up to standard. Hot, cold water but got upgraded which was nice. Second room was beautiful, and stunning view. Staff treated us like royalty, cooked our eggs and made coffee each morning for us. Very pleasure stay. Would recommend!! Thumbs up to the nice older Thai guy who always made our day by dropping us at our unit, or just being a great person.

The property was very run down and no amenities. We ended up switching hotels after a few days. Hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The hotel staff was very nice.

The views were amazing from my room. My second room was clean and lovely. My first room smelled terrible. I think maybe they have just fumigated or something. It was a chemical smell that made my face burn. I asked for a different room and they moved me to a lovely room in the top floor. This hotel has aged a lot in comparison to the photos and needs a bit more upkeep. The breakfast was okay. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Check In was fast. Staff was very friendly and informative. I am very much enjoying my stay here. Also, the view is incredible.

Great looking and lovely outlook a little bit too far to walk but great if you can get around on a scooter like I do .

Hotel was nice but there was a big bug in room and cats are everywhere: by the room, breakfast dining area and pool.

I would recommend Chalong Chalet to everybody looking at staying in this area. Best accomodation we had for our whole holiday in Thailand.

Good location, very pretty, however cats everywhere as well as a bug problem, broken down furniture, smell in rooms, not thoroughly cleaned at all

Based on average rating this resort has &price we paid, I expected so much more & was very disappointed overall. On a positive note, we had the pool to ourself, the chalet was large & having 2 rooms was useful when traveling with a child. However, the chalet was in much need of refurbishment & attention. The bathroom fixtures were broken, the decor was very tired, there was no bin in the kitchenette & the toiletries supplied were poor quality. We didn't have a room key so couldn't lock our chalet either. The breakfast was below average. It was a buffet catering for Asian tastes which wasn't appealing for westerners. The only cereal was coco crunch & the bread/jam were basic. The only saving grace was that they offered scrambled eggs cooked to order. However, we paid over 60% extra just for our child to occupy our room. This was based on her sharing our double bed - no additional bed was provided for her, despite the considerable extra amount paid & plenty of space available for a single bed. Then to add insult, the hotel insisted on charging us extra for our child to eat breakfast, despite us having paid extra within our room rate for 2 adults & 1 child to have breakfast & our booking confirmation clearly stating that breakfast was included for 2 adults & 1 child. The staff were friendly but this didn't change the fact that we had to pay extra for a meal of low quality that we had already paid more for than it was worth in our room rate. Wouldn't stay here again.

Nice resort but not well maintained. Not convenient, don even have a convenient store, you have to spend a it of money if you wish to go town or market. Room is big but a lot of ants, you can founds on your bed. If you need a quite and relaxing holidays, this resort is good.

Awesome time here as always, its only 20 minutes from Patong, but in a quiet area with friendly and helpful staff. Ill be back again in the next two months!

I had to come to Phuket for some business and decided to stay overnight rather than driving back three hours. So my wife came with me and we really enjoyed this hotel. Great views and friendly service. The private jacuzzi on the balcony really topped it off. They have a wide variety of rooms and rates so I can only recommend the deluxe. Good value, especially if you like to avoid the whole Patong area which I do.

Definitely worth recommending. 15 minutes from Karon. 20 minutes from Patong. Quiet place away from the crowd. Value for money. Spacious yet luxurious. In-hotel motorcyle rental. Car parking right at hotel door step and comes with perfect Phuket view.

Near nature. Quite a few insects flew into the room. If u dun like insects, this is not a good choice. The bath tub n shower were outside. A bit cold n windy. Only the bedroom had air conditioner, but not in the living room. A bit hot in the living room so we almost stayed in the bedroom. Good to Hv garden view. Near the zoo n safari

Our flight was delayed so we did not get down to the hotel until 2am. Only to be told they did not have our bookings in their system and the hotel was full. They found the queued payment from Expedia relating to our booking. They arranged for us to stay at another hotel in the area. Whilst waiting to be driven to the other hotel a coach party arrived for whom there was room.

Not enough employees there and the room facilities are really old, some were broken. They did fix them after you call them.

First timers to Phuket sometimes pick wrong located hotel like we did this time. Cleanliness and friendly staff were great. Breakfast buffet to bad, many other guests (koreans) skipped it due to lack of variety and presentations. Hotel breakfast should not look like a Pinoy eatery as latter goes for a fraction of cost compared to this trip.

Great great hotel, and nice and sweet people working there.. The room where hight quality and clean. Jacuzzi with a stunning view over Phuket bay. I deffently going back, as the price were incredible. The restaurant is only thing they should be working on, as is was un-personal and the food average. You could always call the reception and tell them to pick you up in a golf car. Pool was great with only few little people.. (February 2016)

Overall it was very nice. Was very quiet. I like that alot. It's kinda far from patong beach, not too far to get to rawai beach, kata beach. We rented a car it doesn't bother me at all. That hotel has many cats, they are so pretty. It was so much fun to play with cat. All cats are clean and not skinny. I can tell they loves animal. So it makes me feel warm and love. Also it makes me to comeback this hotel. -- hotel is very clean, they change sheets once a day. Room is very large. View from the room great. If you are cat lover, bring some cat food(wet foods) . Lol. I def come back again. Thanks

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalong Chalet this summer, and were impressed with the resorts beauty and comfortability as it is situated amongst beautiful gardens and swimming pools with stunning views of the bay and surrounding mountains. The villa and resort itself is also very nice and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. It also seemed relatively quiet throughout the day and the pool was usually vacant so it was very conducive to some relaxing. Drinks and cocktails were delivered to the pool on request and also you could request massages and free shuttles to nearby shopping centres and kata beach.

This place is stunning, very reasonably priced and the staff are spectacular. We were greeted by the amazing staff in the stunning reception and taken to our room by a golf buggy and had our luggage brought to us (which was a relief for us we were exhausted and on the third floor.) The room is massive and very clean we could NOT fault it. The spa suites are not much more expansive and I thoroughly recommend you upgrade to one if you choose to stay. We had got sick our first night and the cleaner had noticed we had used a lot of toilet paper so the next day left us triple the amount which was muchly appreciated. The hotel offers free lifts into town and you can bater with the tuk tuk's to get a lift home. The gardens and pools are well maintained and the view is picturesk. There were not a lot of visitors whilst we were there however we loved that we had the place to ourselves as we wanted to relax as much as we could. The restaurant staff are just beautiful, kind and they generally care for you. The food is also nice we ate here nearly every second night and very affordable.

Chalong Chalet is a great place to relax, quiet & more privacy. We spent 4 nights of our honeymoon trip here and it was a great place.The Chalets were very nice, modern and big. The outside shower and bath were excellent. The bed and bedding were so comfortable, we had our first solid nights sleep here out of the whole trip.Gardens and surrounding areas are beautiful and very well kept. The breakfast simple & nice. It takes about 20 min by motorbike to get to kata beach.recommend this hotel for couples and families. Stayed on February 11, 2013.
